Tucked away amongst the foothills of the Monashee Mountain Range, Redstone Resort is a true mountain course in every sense. The mountain surroundings combined with the towering trees provide a luxuriously secluded feel. The rugged terrain covered with chutes, streams, and ravines guarantees a unique landscape on each hole. There are many risk-reward opportunities that make the course appealing to low and high handicappers alike. The greens may appear large and inviting but beware of the subtle rolls that require some careful maneuvering. The golf course opens with a downhill tee shot from an elevated tee box to a fairway guarded on the right by sand. The back nine starts off with a difficult par-4 that requires a demanding drive over a ravine. It is the no. 1 handicap hole on the Redstone golf course.

One of my favourites

Unbelievable course. Played 36 in one day and liked it so much we stayed and extra night to play it in the morning again. Best value in the west kootaneys.
The course plays tough but fair. The front nine is more forgiving on misses, but the course requires accuracy to shoot low. The bunkers have some of the finest sand I've ever played.
Some of the best greens I've ever putted. Every putt rolled true, and they were rolling very fast.
The clubhouse is small, but has amazing food at decent prices.
Grass range for cheap to warmup before your round.
Amazing scenery and you often feel like you're on the only hole on the course.

Beautiful course and lots of fun.

Redstone is a gorgeous place and has everything you look for in a great day of golf. The front nine is layed out very traditionally where several fairways work back and forth along each other allowing for good recovery on bad shots and giving players the opportunity to score well. The front nine is lined with many old trees and has a few holes where water comes into play. It is a good layout with no tricks or things that make a player pull his hair out. However, once the back side is reached things change dramatically. If you want to keep a good score going you must play it safe here. The course takes off into the hills and rewards you for smart play. There are several holes where big ball hitters will have to tone it down or lose a ball into the dark forest cover that surrounds the course. Now let me say it is not unfair or a trick back there, but it does require you to keep yourself in check. The course doesn't give any freebies with the exception of hole #16 which is a nice 310 yard par four with almost no trouble on it. It is my opinion that the layout is a perfect combination of risk vs reward golf. The greens on the course are in great condition and high ball hitters can throw darts at the stick and the ball will check up pretty quickly. Overall I truly enjoyed the course and will be back again .

Great Mountain Course

This is a great mountain course cut right out of the forest. The greens are some of the best in BC. Probably best enjoyed in a cart.
