Incredible Experience
Very Challenging and beautiful Vistas are Hallmark Of Morgan Creek. The Greens and fairways are always impeccably manicured, even in the winter season and a real rewarding experience. Toured the New Performance academy which provides state of the art training technology both for club fitting and also a putting training center that is second to none. I was so impressed that I took a lesson from one of the golf instructors and it was a real great experience...everyone should try this unbelieveable facility catering to all age groups and genders.
Great shape for middle of fall
Played Morgan creek during a torrential downpour with strong gusts and a couple weeks straight of rain didn’t plug one ball course was running true. Was amazed at how good of shape it was in for the weather we were having. Great job by the staff.
Always great shape
Played this for a tournament and the course was in fantastic shape. The pace was a little slow but that can happen in tournaments
WOW!! Amazing Course Amazing Golf Experience with one concern 5 hour round
Fantastic course for Mid to Low Handicap Golfers
Not sure beginners or High Handicap golfers would enjoy the challenge and could get pressure on pace.
Fairways and Greens are excellent. Bunkers are good but not consistent some were fluffy and deep and some were solid and bottom out.
The clubhouse and course staff were amazing.
Little pricey but well worth the cost vs the experience.
My only issue would be a 5 hour round.
Must Play in Metro Vancouver
Despite a couple of very hard holes this course is a delight. The course is very well maintained and has amazing practice facilities. Chipping green putting green, driving range just to name a few. fairways are fairly narrow with either forest or houses to either sides you dont want to hook it to far. with mountains to the north dont forget your camera.
Golf shots, golf shots, golf shots!
The course is tough from your first shot until the club house, or at least it seems that way. The first hole is about as intimidating as it gets for a right hander - a dogleg right with out of bounds right, followed by a lengthy approach over water. Yikes! Trust that there is more room than you think on almost every shot and it's not super challenging. The fairways are rather generous and the greens are rather large with run ups available on nearly every hole. Water and bunkers are around and you're more than likely going to lose a few strokes because of them. It's always in great shape, though the greens could do without so many pitch marks.. Otherwise this course is a superb choice with some stellar holes! Especially 1, 6, 10, and 13!
Morgan Creek starts fast
It's been many years since I played Morgan Creek in 2007, although I still haven't forgotten that dreaded first hole. The dogleg right with a scary approach ranks right up there with the toughest first holes I've played. It doesn't let up from there. Six of the first nine holes require shots over water. The huge homes along the fairways rarely intrude on the lines of play, but they do detract from the quality of the experience. I'd love to go back before I pass final judgement to determine if this is course for locals or a place worth seeking out. I'd also like to take a crack at the Ridge course at the Northview Golf & Country Club, a former host of the Air Canada Championship. For a suburb, Surrey has some really good semi-public courses.
meh
just an average course in good condition
staff and atmosphere is snoody
no stand out holes
very overpriced
