Great walking course
First time walking this year, everything was in great shape. I really enjoyed the day, the pace was perfect. Can’t wait to play it again.
Tight little course
First time playing and not a bad course but wouldn't play again. Fairly short course and pretty tight fairways with other fairways in play, so some holes are a hazard. Driving range is a field with no targets. Pro shop reception was weird. Arrived with another group and no one in sight to check us in and take our payment. Waited about 10 minutes before a staff person arrived to check us in, so as it turned out no time to hit balls before the round. Beverage carts were on the course but drove by so fast without slowing there no chance of buying anything. Overall the impression was they didn't care if you were there or would ever come back. Mission accomplished.
Thanks for the feedback. Definitely not our mission. Without our customers coming back we have an empty golf course. Will work on all the areas that you stated to make sure this never happens again.
Wouldn't go back
The course was not long and playing back tees hit a lot of 3W and 3H. Reception at pro shop was negative, Range is a field. Hitting turf was very good but no targets. A fun little course but a little tight so depending on the hole you were in danger of being hit. I guess they haven't payed Golf Canada fees so you can't enter a score for handicap. Overall, I wouldn't play it again but if a casual player probably not a bad deal.
Thanks for the feedback, looks like our proshop has some opportunity to improve. We will let Zach and Steve know. We did not join Golf Canada. It was our choice as over 1000 golf courses across Canada are not members. We are working with Golf Canada to improve the benefits that golf courses as a whole get from their fees and will continue to give Golf Canada feedback. As golf struggles to find itself Golf Canada needs to help all the smaller non private golf courses with their fee structure.
Course in good shape
Course layout good. Course in very good condition. Greens were slow.
In great shape.
Staff were friendly and the course was in great shape.
First Time this year.
We are holding a tournament there next month and I wanted to check out the greens, fairways for dampness. Played this easily walkablle course many times and always found it in good shape. Grass cutting was very good and the staff very friendly. A good value for the money.
Lovely course.
Lovely course, easy to find your ball. Cart not necessary, can easily walk the course.
Fun day
One of our first times out. It was pretty wet but sunny and warm. Great deal and good fun with a few really nice shots. Mike
Wow
Had an amazing round!
I always love the course conditions and the staff are fantastic!
Can’t wait to play again here
Thanks! Wow for the rating right back at you!
Nice course
Century Pines is a moderately difficult course in good condition... water, bunkers, dog legs but no hills. A good walking course. Some of the fairways are a little close to each other so you have to watch for errant balls. Turf conditions were good. My only criticism would be that there was no Starter and no Marshall and the pace of play was very slow. Best to play weekdays?
Will pass this info along to the Proshop. Pace of play is very important
Very good condition
Overall course is in great shape. Greens were a bit chewed up, fairways excellent. Ranger was very active around the course which helped.
Worth a visit
Friendly staff and great course conditions made the rainy day at Century Pines worth the visit.
Recommend to anyone
Nice track
Nothing special about century pines. It was in Good shape. Maybe a little soft. I understand the course does not drain real well. Staff was very friendly. We managed to get a great deal due to an error according to the pro shop. We paid 39 bucks cart included at 2 pm. I wouldn't pay too much more for this track. All in all it was a fun round even in the very windy conditions. We will return.
Thanks!
