Mill River is a mature forest course that is the discerning golfer’s dream - with 18 totally different memories for both the high and low handicap player. Wide rolling fairways, well bunkered greens, subtle elevation changes and numerous lakes and streams make each hole a new challenge and a pleasure to play.

Whether the par 4, #3 along the river is to your liking or the entirely redesigned par 4, #18, the many enhancements add a new dimension to the Mill River golf experience. As can be expected, you will need to use your entire game as you venture around this parkland setting. One of Prince Edward Island’s most popular and affordable playgrounds.

A nice course with amazing staff

Stayed on site at the resort for 5 days with my wife and 1 year old daughter and had an amazing time. Golf was great and plenty of other on-site activities for families. The staff were super friendly and accommodating making our stay a real pleasure. I would not hesitate to return to Mill River.

Mill River delivers throwback golf on PEI

It's been eight years since I played Mill River, but I think I still have nightmares about some of its narrow fairways lined with mature trees and pines. Mill River feels like a course cut from a time warp. You just don't find modern designs with such skinny fairways. That - along with a constant bombardment of water features - makes it unique from its competition on the island.
Mill River is the most isolated course on PEI, so it takes some work to find it 90 miles from Charlottetown. The final destination makes the journey worthwhile, especially if you stay a few days in any of the 90 guestrooms and suites of the Rodd Mill River Resort.
