Boulder Creek Golf Club - Desert Hawk/Eldorado Valley
About
There are 27 holes of championship golf at Boulder Creek Golf Club. The holes are divided into three nines that are played in different 18-hole combinations. The Desert Hawk/Eldorado Valley golf course combines the longest and shortest nines. The Desert Hawk nine offers plenty of room with generous greens and wide fairways. Though Eldorado Valley is the shortest, but you would never be able to tell. The nine rewards long drives and there are unobstructed shots from the lush fairways. Water hazards come into play, mostly on the front nine, while the back nine's challenges come from the deep, natural sand bunkers that are strategically positioned along the greens. Throughout the course, golfers will enjoy a scenic and diverse landscape that shifts from desert to verdant meadows accented with colorful wildflowers.

A warm December day
We played on Dec 8, 2017 and the weather was perfect. They go to great lengths to keep the course nice. The course is challenging due to the many washes and arroyos on both sides of most fairways. There are 27 holes. Two of the nines (Coyote Run & Desert Hawk) are similar, while Eldorado Valley is a little more open. I've played this course a few times and the pace of play has always been good. You might pay a little more to play this course than other courses in the area, but its worth it due to the course maintenance and the greens. The practice area and range are excellent. There is a chipping green and plenty of room on the range. It is just north of the Boulder City airport and a skydiving school, so there are always people above you jumping out of planes and making noise; it's kind of funny. All putts roll to the south and you should keep that in mind. Great course with a friendly staff.
Great course good value
Friendly staff. Good course to play for the value
Tight layout Easy to get a tee time and worth the drive from downtown
great value in the Las Vegas area
Nice driving range/warmup area. Course has a variety of hole setups. Tee boxes are nice and hole lengths vary. Greens are undulating and fast. Bunker sand was inconsistent. I would definitely play again.
Members painfully slowwwwwww
Nice track, very dry. Members were painfully slow to play behind and were even had 2 beginner golfers on our group and even they were waiting.
Good challenge
First time playing Boulder Creek. Some interesting holes where even if I hit well, you may end up in a bunker or ditch if one isn’t able to control the direction well. Some clumps growing on the fringes, but otherwise, the course was in god shape.
Excellent course layout, greens were in good shape as well as the fairways. Fringes around the greens are very poor as there are tight of a secondary grass making putting and chipping pretty much impossible as the toughs of grass kick the ball all over the place or outright stop the ball. There were almost no garbage cans on the tee boxes!
