Cedar Crest Golf Club
About
Cedar Crest Golf Club in Murfreesboro sprawls across rolling farmland accented with groves of mature trees. The fairways on the front nine are wide open but they become narrower and tree lined on the back nine. The greens play fast and true and they are also well conditioned. There are not many sand traps to contend with but a smattering of elevation changes throughout the golf course cause an occasional uneven lie. Seasoned golfers looking for a challenge won't find it here but what you will find is a relaxed atmosphere that is ideal for a quick, casual round that is player friendly enough for beginners. In addition to the course, Cedar Chest Golf Club offers extensive practice facilities including a driving range and a two-tiered practice green.

I accidentally booked the wrong course
I thought I was booking at Cedar Crest in Dallas, Tx, not the course in Tennessee. I called Tennessee Cedar Creat to let them know of my error. Can you please make sure that I am not charged for the 3 rounds that I erroneously booked? Cedar Crest said they couldn’t do anything about it, that I should contact you. Checking out the website for GolfNow, there is no phone # or email address listed. Thank you, Marilyn Evans
Meh!!
Tee boxes are trash. Fairways are a mix of nice grass and cow pasture grass. Greens slow but in good shape. No Marshall, no cart girl. Multiple groups of 5 or more were seen, including a group of 7. Again. Meh, not impressed.
Lotta potential!
Course has a nice layout. Greens were well maintained the fairways are really bad on multiple holes. It looks like they are making some changes tk the course which is nice.
Ok course
A few of the fairways had dirt in some areas, I was happy that they had a snack/drink cart throughout my game. I wouldn't mind playing again if the price was about 10-15 dollars lower.
Getting better
No one has grass. But it’s starting to come in. Course was tricky as always. Prices could be lower. Noticed everyone just went up. But we didn’t get anymore money.
Nice course, just early in the season
Bermuda is still dormant they were getting ready to aerate the greens - a couple more weeks should be in very good shape.
Greens in Great Shape - PoP as usual
Played here several times. The greens and fairways are in great and good shape. Greens run very fast compared to Old Fort or Indian Hills.
Only gripe is the usual slow play at this course. Finished in 4 hours 40 minutes but had to wait on almost every hole and the 4-some behind us had to wait on us while we were still waiting on some of the tee boxes.
Fun course
Took my 6th grade son who is learning to play there for a quick 9 hopes. It was both of ours first time there. The course was tough but not too tough to discourage us. We had a great time and will play there again.
Fast greens
Greens in great shape. Bad pin placement. It would be better if it quits raining. Muddy!!!!
college hackers
4some of college hackers in front of us all round and would not let us play through. the marshal was everywhere else but never came by our way.
Fire the greenskeeper
Whoever places the holes at this course needs to be working at McDonald’s, so pin positions are completely un makable, they will put them on the side of a hill and even below the hole the ball will roll all the way back down.
