Great condition, seaside feel, challenging holes
Played with the usual 15mph SE wind making the first 4 holes on the back nine challenging, greens are perfect, fairways are very good and bunkers are very playable. Pace of play was excellent and the usual variety of birds was present. Plenty of water and brush to lose a ball in and some tough forced carries into greens make solid contact a must or the wind will make you come up short. Just an excellent experience, a great course to walk as it is a flat layout. Staff is excellent. Great practice facility with chipping green and bunker.

Skeeters
Love playing at Moody but the mosquitos almost made it unbearable. Cart path only day with all rain on Friday so walked which made it worse. Course was in great shape considering and thankfully the mosquitos eased up later in the day. Always have bug spray.

GolfNow Sucks
After booking and prepaying for 3 golfers for $77 each we arrived at the course and learned it was ladies day. Our female participant in our group would only have paid $36 at the course. Additionally, our senior would have only paid $50 at the course. GolfNow caused us to pay $68 additional. The pro shop advised us that there was nothing they could do to rectify the overcharge and suggested that we make our reservations directly with them in the future. This was good advice I’ll follow from now on.

Very challenging
The course was in excellent shape, and it was very challenging! The wind plus lots of water combination proved to be tough as I usually shoot in the low 90's. Yea I lost about 8 balls ,but still was able to par the last hole to finish the round. The greens are fast and I can't believe this couse isn't ranked!!

Moody garden
I drove 4 hr to enjoy the beach area and experience moody gardens with the wife for my bday. I didn't like being paired up with a random person to play and the Marshall wasn't as friendly as I'd like besides that the the guy behind the counter and especially the cart lady made it a great experience. The course was great as well alot of intersting holes but make sure to buy extra balls if your a beginner I'd play again in the future.

Considering this course is on an island it’s great. Don’t forget the mosquito spray. You will need it.

Amazing! Fav course ever!
Greens rolled amazing! No waiting all day, I play this course 6-7 times a year and I don’t remember ever waiting. A few of the palm trees died during the freeze making it a little easier. Super fun course, causes you to be creative when the wind is blowing 30. Makes the par 3s on the front play like 180 and 240 🥲. Staff is awesome!! I’d play double the normal rate to play here no problem. Some people literally leave their golf balls after a shot so one of the Marshalls ended up giving me like 30 golf balls, everyone was in a good mood. Feel like home here!

Conditions improvingh
Greens were in very good shape…..bunkers hardpacked…. Tee boxes need care. Still a good layout but not in as good shape as prior years……
