HORRIBLE CONDITIONS
This was by far the worst conditions I’ve seen in TX! Fix the sprinkler system or you will loose this course entirely. So dry everywhere there was limited grass anywhere except T boxes and greens! Bunkers were terrible, grass growing through the DIRT & not raked anywhere!
I honestly only played to get a practice round for the PAT next mont. I can’t believe the PGA would host this event on this course in these conditions! If I could give ZERO stars I would!

Really enjoyed my round
Great course, been trying to get on this course for a while but they hook up quick and now I know why… it’s a beautiful course with a good mix of difficulty holes. With how busy it is, expect to be held up by someone or group playing a little slower but overall good pace.

I’m really enjoying playing the Old Course at Firewheel. I’m a solo golfer and haves been paired with all types and have had a great time even in the extreme Texas heat.

Actually pretty decent
The fairways and greens are in pretty decent condition. The sand traps would be encouraging without the rocks and small pebbles...which are small rocks...but overall good value for your dollar.......there hotdogs are also pretty solid.
