Great Course
I have to give the staff credit there was a junior golf tournament practice round going on Friday and the pace of play was outstanding. The course is in great shape the greens are firm but fair. I will be going back soon to play another round and I recommend you should go play if you haven't been.
great course, very poor greens
I love the general layout of this course. My favorite probably. BUT, the greens are BAD. there are these little weeds all over the totally mess up the roll on the greens. I drive better here than anywhere, but putting is the strongest part of my game generally, but suffers here. Worth a cheap HOT DEAL, but not worth regular price for that reason.
Course not really for seniors
Layout was good, staff was friendly , pace of play was slow. Biggest complaint is that there are no senior tees. We had a foursome of over 70 year olds and the course was just too long for us from the whites. Couldn’t bring ourselves to hit from the red (ladies tees). Wish management would consider us old olds. Thanks
late winter conditions
We enjoyed our day at Tangle ridge. It was windy and warm for early March. Bermuda is starting to grow, but the greens have lots of weeds that will get killed off when they aerate/top dress. Fairways had decent grass and bunkers were playable. Lots of left to right shots on this course, and the wind makes it tough. Elevation changes rarely seen in DFW. Fun course, even better when the grasses come in.
Best quality/price around Dallas
Very well with few holes design like PGA golf courses.
BEST REPORT QUALITY-PRICE GOLF COURSE AROUND DALLAS
Only negative point: Pars 4 & 5 too long for women. Everything else is great especially the design.
best course I played in dallas
Granted I only played 3 courses but the other two were rated slightly higher. The fairways here were the widest. The greens were not raised to an extreme level where slightly off shots were penalized severely there was more grass here also so around the green I could slide my wedge under the ball and not have to pick every chip perfectly. Overall course had more softness/give instead of cement like hardness.
