Cheekwood Golf Club
About
Situated in the heart of Franklin, the Cheekwood Golf Club (formerly known as Fairways on Spencer Creek) is conveniently located only 20 minutes south of Nashville. This popular layout has been ranked as one of the top 10 nine-hole golf courses in Tennessee. Despite being a shorter course, the layout still offers several holes with water hazards and sand bunkers. The tight fairways and rolling terrain also require a fair amount of accuracy. The course has enough challenges as well as enough variety throughout the holes to make it a fun round for more skilled players, which also makes it a great place for beginners to get some practice. Being that the round is usually quick, the golf course is a popular choice for golfers looking to get in a quick round after work.

Had a very good experience. I brought a disabled friend and your staff was so kind and helpful. We were given a flag for our cart and she was able to be closer to the greens which she found very helpful. She was impressed by the kindness shown to her and she wants to come back. She has been away from golf for several years and now has found a place where she is comfortable playing again.
Thank you
Wide open executive course
Great course to get in a quick 9 or for beginners or people short off the tee
Great staff.
Staff was friendly and very helpful. Nice course. Thanks.
Love this Course!
This has become my favorite course in Middle Tennessee. I love playing at Cheekwood.
Love this course
Everything was great. Customer Service, the Course itself, honestly everything!!!!
Overpriced
Even though this is in Franklin, it is not worth going out for an executive course. Also, for a short course and them to charge the same price to walk vs ride is bad. Save your money and go play at Harpeth Hills for less than half the price.

Great first time out in 2021. Loved having the drink cart on the course.
Short and fun to play your irons on but needs a lot of work.
This course needs quite a bit of work. The layout isn’t bad and hole 2 or 3 from the tips is fairly scenic(a little pond and barn). The fairways and greens were playable but not great. The rough is pretty bare in a lot of spots and and extremely tall in other areas. A lot of weeds. If you’re just looking to strike a few balls after work and don’t care about scoring this course would pass. It probably should be a $15 9 hole course. Because it’s in Franklin and the public course selection is absolutely horrendous in this area people will pay extra for convenience. It’s a pretty short course even from the tips and the hazards don’t come into play really. The only exception, the sand trap on the 9th hole is fairly tight to the green.
Franklin could have two good options, this 9 hole course and a 18 hole course located in Spring Hill(15min away) if either could manage to step up their maintenance. Layouts on these courses are fine and there’s a huge golfing community in this area. I don’t understand what the problem is.
Fun little course
Fun little course. You have to hit accurately so it makes you think. There is some water and wooded areas. Great place to practice before going out on tougher courses.
