Not a great experience….
Course was in rough shape. The greens are not well maintained, full of sand, gouges by maintenance crew. Impossible to accurately gauge speed or break. Fairways were in decent shape but more like skiing moguls in parts than level and smooth. Stay out of the rock hard, compacted sand traps. Not worth the trip in my opinion. Glad I booked at a discount rest, would have been extremely upset if I paid full weekend freight.
Very nice/pleasant experience
I was surprised how well kept this course was. Love the layout. Greens are almost back from aeration, but already good to play. The hole 19 has amazing food and friendly staff. Overall worth the 40 minutes commute. Be back again to play the sister course El Dorado soon.
Great Round
Tee box, fairways, fringes are in great shape. Greens are healing nice from the aeration.
Good price and a place for beginners
We played 4 times on this course. Friendly for beginners. However, the cart path is cracking up all around. The cool water cooler has mildew at hole 11. Friendly staffs!
La Quinta Review 2
Golf course in good shape, save and except a few fairways marred with moguls & cracked cart paths. Greens were on the slow side but rolled true. The layout affords room to miss if you play away from trouble. An enjoyable tract and good value for your money.
Wasn't Contact Or Refunded
One of the courses was closed, didn't get notified. Was told it was because I didn't have an email on file. I do have one on file. Didn't get compensatated and was told to play on the other course but was going to be charged because it was more expensive of a course. I ended up leaving. Haven't been refunded
Several holes have drainage problems. Most bunkers were unplayable. The restrooms have remained in bad shape for years. Same for the cart paths— concrete slabs need to be redone.
