Really nice course
This is a good course that is well kept and very good to play.
The greens are excellent and the staff friendly.
The members however played slowly and did not let our two ball through.so spoilt our day and we gave up at the 16th
Excellent course
Course was in excellent condition. Holes challenging and very picturesque. Well worth a visit
Challenging and forgiving.
Good course, friendly staff/pro shop,
Fairways allow for forgiveness whilst each hole has its own nifty challenges. Our 4 ball really enjoyed it and would go back.
Nice course considering the weather
Was 1’C so all fairways and greens were rock solid, nice course though. Only issue was that we overpaid due to the Golfnow price being £5 per golfer over the course’s green fee and the course weren’t very sympathetic.
Course
From tee to greens it was fine once on the greens it left alot to be desired the greens need alot of work doing to them
Day at Belvedere
Have played here on a number of occasions but not since the changes.
On arrival all Covid requirements in place and staff welcoming. We teed off on time and thoroughly enjoyed our game.
The course very tidy but not impressed with the state of the bunkers.
Easy to walk
Only criticism is the bunkers were lacking sand and overgrown in places but clearly COVID restrictions have played a part in this. The course is long but flat so easily walkable. The hotel looks very nice and the stay and play offers seem good value. Friendly staff and members. We will be back next year.
Enjoyable day at Belvedere
Very nice round of golf on a pleasant day.
Course in good condition, good mix of holes and in pretty good condition .
Greens a bit damp from the sea mist but dried off as the round wore on.
Very flat course, nice if you don't like hills
Looked like a little bit of course re-configuration going on with the introduction of a new hole but didn't spoil the day.
Recoomended for a nice round of socail golf
super course on the east coast
excellent links course,in very good condition. super friendly staff and atmosphere in general is very welcoming. would highly recommend and i will be back.
Enjoyable links course.
Played 9/9/19
Very enjoyable tough links course.
Recommend playing.
Not Good
I've played here on numerous occasions in the last 30 years and to be brutally honest it's the worst condition I've ever seen it in.
Greens were very long patchy and bobbly the fairways could not be defined from the rough and the tees were also patchy.
Ohe good point was the clubhouse and staff were of a very high standard as usual.
After speaking to some members the greens had been hollow toned at some point in the last few weeks but that for me wasn't an excuse.
The bunkers also lack sand.
In short it was a very disappointing experience.
Having lived in Scotland for 16 years near St.Andrews and having played a fir number of courses your course is far superior to a lot of them. My son and I will be back to at Bridlington after we have played other courses which are new to us.
Great venue lovely people cracking course.
I played this couse 20+ years ago and the deal they were offering for a Saturday afternoon (£12) was worth the trip.
The course was dry and in very good condition after all the poor weather we've had.
The greens were in a bit bobbly but better than expected after all the rain.
The only minor gripe was some of the bunkers had a lack of sand but an abundance of stones.
We met some members on couse (who let us play through) and in the bar and they were lovely people.
I would recommend this course.
The course plays well after a very wet Spring.
I was looking for a round on a good course in good condition at a bargain price - and found just that! Picked up a deal fron Golf Now and after a very wet period, when most courses were suffering, Bridlington played really well. Even Buggies were in use, though we did not use them. I even played to my handicap.
Great friendly staff..course in good condition for time of year.. Arrived early and course wasn't busy so was aloud to get straight out..good day
Friendly is the word
Had a problem with making our t time because of major traffic problems. Staff very understanding and moved t time to next day.
When we did play it had been raining all morning but the course stood up really well. Even managed
To par the v difficult 14th.
Had a great pint of Theakstons pale ale after our game.
Will return.
