Brookfield Golf Club

This coarse has now closed as of the 5th September

Arrived at 7.15am for a 7.45am tee off. Shop was closed and no sign of anyone. Waited until 8.15am when a young man, obviously just out of bed arrived.
He opened up and I was asked for confirmation of my booking, which I produced. I explained that I had been waiting and by now there was a queue at the 1st tee and he just looked at me blankly and gave me a scorecard.
i only played 9 holes and won't be returning!

Had a great round with friends, the course has challenges but rewards if you play well. Had my best round.

Warm welcome. Great lunch. Lovely course. Forgiving wide fairways. Glorious sunshine. Fantastic countryside. Course in v good condition. Lovely pint to finish.

A nice challenging course with a good mix of par 5s 4s and 3s. In good condition for the time of year. Nice sandwich and a drink in the bar afterwards for a reasonable price.

Nice course and well placed it just need a little bit more attention. The greens were not to good (especially the front nine) and he bunkers bereft of sand !

If I hadn't been playing with three mates I'd have walked off. The greens were a disgrace, no sand in the bunkers, those that did it was building sand. Tee boxes were tiered and batterd, the whole course is un loved with no staff, no green keepers and no idea. I've played several times and I've never seen anyone working on the course, members are leaving in droves, its basically turning back into the farmers fields it was built from, and I wouldn't be surprised to see houses being built on there before to long. Don't bother playing it it's a huge disappointment.

Considering it had rained heavily the course was in good nick. The fairways and greens were in good condition considering the weather. It was wet off the fairway which wasn't an issue as I was only in the rough once. Badly affected areas were signed GUR. Was hapoy with my day at Brookfield golf and will definitely play again as it's a challenging course. Only issue I had was with the guy who runs the shop, he was abit flustered and abrupt with me which came across has being a bit rude but I don't let that affect my game?

Excellent course in excellent condition, bunkers were full of sand and course looked well maintained looking forward to playing it again now

Brookfirld is good course with some top quality holes. The 18th is top grade. I really like playing this course, the staff are always helpful and welcoming. Trolleys are free to use. Great day. Thanks Brookfield
