Much Improved
The changes they have put into the course are paying off. Much better sand in the bunkers. The tee boxes, fairways and greens are in great shape. I would not hesitate to go back.
High end neighborhood; high end pricing
The course continues to show improvements following the freeze in February. The sand traps and most tee boxes have been replaced and are in great condition. Fairways play well, but the greens are just ok. I guess being located in an upscale neighborhood warrants the almost double weekend rates than other courses in the areas. The value is lacking as the weekend rate and cart is $75, for a course that isn’t much nicer than others. Staff is friendly and welcoming. Pace of play on this day was crazy slow, and honestly my group didn’t finish the round due to back ups on every hole in the back 9. Incomplete groupings (3 or less) caused delays.
Greens
The Greens are terrible the grain is so bad. Go check out Mesquite golf course greens. Probably 10 to 11 on a stemp meter smooth as glass. Yours are rough grainy. Puts didn’t hold there line. Slow unless down hill.
The rest of the golf course is great. I’ve been playing your course since the 90’s
Not buffalo’d at Buffalo
Haven’t played here in about a year. Course is in much better shape and they’ve made some great changes. Nice new carts too. Looking forward to returning.
Good Course!!
Had a good time playing this course since there was a renovation of the sand traps! Definitely this is my home course.
Was great before now even nicer
Repairs to tee boxes and sand traps are under way but the course is 100% playable and fun! White sand bunkers on a public course like this are rare! So excited to see the completed project but thrilled they are making it playable during the process!
Good Time was had by all
Great place to play even if you're not a "pro". Enjoyed it!
Buffalo Creek
This course was a good buy. Even though about 8 tee box areas were under repair. The greens had been air rated a few weeks prior. Overall course was in good condition, club house and snack bar were great along with the cart girls. Free range balls prior to teeing off. I will play this course ina few weeks after the tee boxes and greens completely come in.
Excited for the finished product but woof…
I friendly disclaimer would’ve been nice that all of the boxes are under repair so you’re essentially playing from the front tees for half the holes and a lot of the boxes are on fairways and a ton of extrapolation required to have a good time. Greens were also punched at the same time which made essentially every aspect of the round have an asterisks. I definitely would not have played if I had know. The conditions. There should be more transparency across all booking sites of what we are getting ourselves into. Near $70 for a round in these conditions in not reasonable. Excited for the changes! But I won’t be back until they’re complete.
Going to be an awesome course
Course largely under construction right now. New management is updating all bunkers and tee boxes. Currently still a good course, but in a few months it will be stunning! Looking forward to coming back! Nice practice areas and super friendly staff.
Under construction
Greens were punched and at least 4-5 tee boxes per side were under construction. Tees were moved up super far. Some tees on holes were just put in a random spot in the grass and not an actual box. Paid full price which is lame
Not worth playing in current condition
The course is beautiful, however 3/4 of the course is in full reconstruction mode. Tee-boxes are non existent and hole layouts are in shambles. Greens are in rough shape and are very inconsistent throughout the course. I’m sure that the course will be back to standard by the end of the year but until then it is nowhere near its luxury price tag.
Love the course, but it's under repair
Great course with pretty much everything, but it's under repair from storms earlier this year (some tee boxes are totally ripped up and being redone). Also the sand can be like a beach and difficult to play.
Under repair
Much of the course is being worked on tees, fairways and bunkers. They have patch some bare spots around the greens which can force you to play a more difficult shot than you could have played. Greens are in great shape. Overall a good experience.
Under Construction
Some tee boxes are completely torn up. Bunkers under construction as well. One hole had 4 groups playing the same hole back up was bad. Could be a great course after construction but not worth what they are charging for a course that’s under construction. Need to lower the rates to reflect that.
