Good layout with tactical holes

We really enjoyed the course, with pleasant ambience and tactical holes where you needed to lay-up, which made a nice change from hitting driver all day.

Greens were also excellent with plenty of shape to test putting skills.

Very warm welcome in the pro shop as well and overall thoroughly recommend.

Should have hired a buggy!

If the weather is hot like it was yesterday (27 degrees) I would definitely recommend a buggy. The course was quite open so ideal for a holiday round, greens were in goid nick with some interesting holes, well placed bunkers makes you think about it off the tee. We had a six handicapper, a 15 handicapper and someone who hasn't payed for a while off 27 and everyone really enjoyed it.

Good Course with greens in excellent condition

Fairways in excellent condition and wide enough for most, but don’t stray off line as the fescue is brutal, greens looked and played very true if a little on the slow side.

Lovely Course but slow food service

Once again loved our round of golf for the 3rd time but even though we arrived over an hour before tee off to have a sandwich and a coffee we didn't receive our food until 20 mins before tee off and then we wee rushed. No time for practice, putting or warm up.

Great course

The second time we have played here and once again a tough but fair challenge for us novice golfers
The course is in good condition and provides a variety of challenges
The only down side is the speed of food service as we was again had to dash to make tee time despite arriving and ordering in plenty of time

Not Inspiring

Whilst the efforts of the staff to get us a buggy on a very busy day were much appreciated & excellent food & drinks service both before & after our game - the golf course tbh was not up to the standard I expect . Almost every par 4 was exactly the same layout so made it a pretty uninspiring game . Add that to a very slow pace of play (4hrs 45mins for 2 ball) it was a disappointment to say the least . A real shame that the standard of service from the staff there couldn’t be matched by the golf course.

Good value

The course is very challenging and good value for money through the golf.now website ( formally tee times.com ) but fairways very tired and dry making it difficult to get good contact. I wouldn’t be too happy paying the full visitor green fee of £38 because of this but all in all a nice set up and lovely clubhouse too

Lovely course

Greens were excellent and the course is in great condition all round. Hit some balls on the range before playing which was good and staff were very friendly. Guy in the pro shop was very chatty and nice
Really enjoy playing Crane Valley
