Grwat

Great course, play it may times throughout the year, conditions are pretty boggy in winter but this is expected as all the rain we have had. You can see they are putting in a lot of work to install drainage. 9th hole is always tough but always enjoy a round at fulneck

Avoid in wet conditions

Played Fulneck before and it’s a nice little course, however, the course should not have been open yesterday. The wet weather has meant the course was saturated. Greens waterlogged and unplayable, fairways very boggy so your ball just plugged into the fairway. They are doing work on the course which is good to see however charging £15 for 9holes in its current condition is scandalous and left a very bad taste. There was a mini digger on hole 6 m I front on the bunker - a hazard I didn’t expect to have to play around. Overall it’s a great little course, but avoid during wet weather periods, it simply isn’t worth it

Beautiful local Golf course, amazing location and gorgeous landscape

Amazing classic golf course, with a lot of history, you can almost feel it. The course is great with both uphill, side hill and downhill holes. Regarding hospitality they could improve, although this didn't affect my round. We arrived at 10:45, and nobody of the club was there. A person arrived at 11:00 and we started our round at approx. 11:30, so no problem at all. This could have been different though, when we would have started earlier for example.

Nice variety in the holes, with both par 3 and par 4. The course is beautifully located and was not that occupied, so no pressure from people playing faster behind us. Sometimes it was searching a bit for the next tee, so they can indicate that better with some signs.

All in all a great golf experience on a classic English golf course with some history and tradition, beautifully located in the middle of a beautiful walking route. Price is approx. 12 EUR to pay per person, great value for money!

Hilly. Wish I'd not carried!

The course was in good condition, but the pace of play slowed down considerably on my back nine. Favourite hole is the 5th/14th.
If you're wanting to use any facilities (a toilet, for example), I hope you have better luck than me. I had to hunt out a greenkeeper to gain access to a toilet after waiting around for half an hour.

Good little 9 hole course

Not a bad little 9 hole course, the greens could be in better condition but I put that down to the poor recent weather. Tricky little course and that last 9th/18th hole could be a par5 it's a very long par4 and with the steep incline make sure you are fit and ready for the march up that hill lol.

A pleasant 9 hole course

Not a bad 9 hole course for the price. No par 5 holes with most being par 4 and a few par 3. The fairways and greens were in okay condition. Some greens a little bobbly in parts but playable.

Word of warning, the 9th hole is a good climb and will get your heart pacing if you're unfit, so one to watch out for if you're not prepared for the exercise. Not ideal to finish out of breath but that's on me for not keeping in shape!

Can't comment on the staff as we were there early and nobody was around. Other golfers on the course were polite and friendly enough. Just watch out for dog walkers and runners as they seem to come out of nowhere!

Will visit again and would recommend to friends as a casual course for getting a lot of par 3/4 practice in.

hidden gem

Played this super 9 hole course after work. No one on the course but me and my colleague. This was great as it was his first game in 4 years. Nice lay out of holes. Still early in the season to comment on the condition of the greens. They were slow...but that's all. The last hole is a monster par 4 up a steep steep hill. Paid £10 for 9 holes of pure fun. Will return.

Hidden gem

Stunning course for the money (£10). Booked a 0700 tee time and for several hours we didnt see another golfer on the whole course which made for a very relaxed game. A beautifully manicured course. If i had to nitpick my only pick ups would be; the map on the score card was tiny and mixed with limited direction on the course made it hard to find our next tee, or even where the pin was from the tee on some holes, there were several dog walkers and joggers on the course, so found we were waiting on occasion for the course to clear and my final issue is the 9th/18th hole, the hill you play up is so steep that its quite a steuggle just to walk up. Overall a beautiful course that I look forward to playing again next time I'm in the area.

Superb value for money

This course gives you a bit of everything. I would imagine on a windy day it would be a real test. The only that lets it down is the Condition of the bunkers and a couple of the greens didn’t run true. I will definitely be back to play it when in the area.

Could be far better

Poor nick the course, we had an early tee off time but there was no club shop open , there was also a kids Easter egg hunt in the middle of the course whilst we was playing which was bizarre.
