Booked my tee time at this course because I saw loss of empty slots online . It was supposed to be a relaxed game after work with me and my friend . Got to the course and the pro shop said we were the only ones booked on , brilliant just what we wanted .

During our round at least 8 groups of members turned up behind us one by one at some point . After being behind us for one hole each . They would hit into us , whether we were fairway or green . No one shouted fore . A ball nearly hit my head and another ball hit my friends bag . We felt rushed and unwelcome the whole round.

Me and my friend are in no way slow players and are very practiced at playing ready golf . These players were clearly very good at the game and we’re not missing any shots . We felt like these were local members not happy to have visitors on their course.

Our round felt rushed and unsafe. We felt uncomfortable and unwelcome. And it spoilt our round.

First time visit and an overall great experience. Weather a little unkind to us but in no way ruined our enjoyment. Read reviews so was expecting friendly welcome and that was certainly the case with everyone we encountered polite and courteous and great information from gent who signed us in. Course in more than decent condition compared to a couple of places we have played recently and at the entry price excellent value for money. As long as this remains the case with my daughter having just moved in around the corner me and my son could become regular visitors. Great variety of holes not as hilly as I was expecting which was a bonus and the short par 3 signature hole was lovely . Little birdie here 😂😂.

Third time playing this course, first time in dry conditions. Booked through golfnow paid only £18 bargain. Some really good holes, the elevated par 3 is fun!! Bunkers not too good, seem to have builders sand rather than fluffy sand. Greens ok, but not lush. Only 5 minutes from me, so will definitely be back.

3rd time playing this course, and they've all been in winter lol the course is in good condition for winter, greens little ropey (to be expected). Some really fun holes. Paid only £18 through golfnow. Had to course to ourselves.

A good golf course that is a real test of golf. Narrow fairways and small greens make accuracy off the tee a must. Don’t let the relatively short yardage fool you. This course is a test in summer or winter.

Great course, has a variety of long and short holes with some narrow fairways to test you off the tee. Also some nice open fairways, so you can let rip if you want. Not an easy course by any means and is nice and mature with plenty of well grown trees and well established Greens that are a pleasure to putt on.

Wouldn’t doubly recommend this course

I enjoyed playing this course had some really nice holes.. lovely tree lined holes...was a shame the greens were being treated,a couple of the greens were bad and the sand in the bunkers wasn't the best but overall enjoyed playing the course and will be returning

We arrived in time for our prebooked 10.50 tee off time; the guy in the pro shop was extremely friendly and helpful.
The course itself looked like it could have done with some maintenance over the spring months - there were lots of areas of bare earth with no grass on them; the fairways were average. The bunkers seemed to have precious little sand in them too.
What was disappointing was the relative lack of signage on the course to enable visitors to navigate their way around the course; consequently we got "lost" a couple of times.
All in all we would go back there to play

As always, a very very good course. Probably the best greens in the midlands. Could have done with the bunkers having more sand in, but a small price to pay when the rest of the course is so good

Good course greens were excellent but so quick recommend to anyone low or high handicap

Very very good course and hard if you come off of the fairways the only negative I have is the rough is very rough. Apart from the that great course and great staff happy to help. I played in the rain and the greens were quick and in very good condition.

The course is interesting and has lots of challenging holes. You need to be accurate with your shots.
The one downside, I was playing solo and on both the front & back 9 I was not waved through by the golfers in front.
I was quite disappointed as I have always been told to let those playing fast to play through. This happened twice by 2 sets of 2 balls. Typically I would be on the tee waiting to tee off while they were finding their tee shot and not once was I waved through.
