Accident waiting to happen
I first played this course when it was empty months ago and didn't foresee what it would be like on a busy day. From the first hole we felt rushed by players doing the back nine, not helped by pin positions being easier to access on the back 9 giving even less time to get ahead and get into the swing of things and most fairways cross eachother, you share most holes with the back 9 and as an example of danger, the 2nd tee is across the par 5 fairway and over the first green, someone will get injured, I will never go back on a busy day
Lovely Course
This isn't the longest course in the world, but it is set in a stunning location and a number of the holes will definately test you. It's basically a 9 hole course, except with 11 greens (the 5th/14th and 6th/15th are played to different greens) and a number of different tees. The tricky bit the first time you play here is knowing where you're actually going on some of the holes, especially when playing the 5th/14th and 6th/15th. The guy in the pro shop kindly pointed out to me where to go, although maybe he should have told my clubs!
This isn't an easy walking course, so be prepared for a number of climbs if you're playing all 18. It is certinly worth the effort though, as the views from the top of the course are stunning.
Would I recommend playing here? If I lived nearby I think I'd want to be a member, that's how much I recommend it.
Nice course but a little muddled in places.
Nice course however trying to work out where the next hole was, this even begin with the 2nd Tee!
Some very hard holes and quite challenging for average golfers.
Welcome in shop great - green keepers perhaps need to be mindful of who is paying their wages.
Great course
Very well presented course, passed this course many times over the years going over the Snakes pass and always thought it looked great, having now played it, it's still great, some lovely par 3 holes, was a bit wet when we played it but it had poured down all night, would recommend this course to do either a quick 9holes or if you've got time 18 on differing tees and sometimes greens
