Haydock Park Golf Club

A lovely flat parkland course, tree lined fairways. Well looked after. Greens in good condition although they had recently been treated and were a little bumpy. My only complaint was that two fourballs in front were unbelievably slow and the round took over 4 hours.

Live locally, but never played before - my loss. The course was in excellent condition. Helped by the fact the staff had taken great care with the way the course had been mown. Greens a little slow, but very true. I wish my course had green staff who prepared the course for general play as well as this club.

The only negative was pace of play - like many clubs it is allowing anyone with a bag of clubs to tee up, regardless of their ability or to be frank, a complete lack of the same. This is not a criticism - all clubs are at it and may face the consequences down the line.

Plenty of dog-legs with drive line paramount. Some good par threes too. Very well presented and maintained.quite flat and easy on the legs. Quite a lot of adjacent fairways though. Excellent professional Craig.

I’ve played courses all round the world but this course is probably one of the best well kept courses I’ve ever played

We booked a 2 ball but were told on arrival that we had a member playing with us, which I'm not overly keen on

However the member Mike was very friendly and good company

Course in great condition, bunkers had a decent amount of sand in, greens were fast without being unfair. A couple of greens / tees are quite close to each other so have to be aware. Quite tight fairways, didn't lose a ball but lots of trees separating holes so can be blocked out even if you're only just out of position

Didn't use inside clubhouse

Great parkland course, greens well kept in good condition, friendly staff and members, will definitely play here again

Well worth a round of golf, nice course with fantasy well kept greens.

Fairways and greens in good condition for time of year. Winter tees on mats throughout, with some of them at the back of the normal tees making course play long on some holes, but short on others.

Considering the amount of rain we’ve had the corse was in food condition. The greens were superb and it was nice that the course was open after some very heavy rain .

I've played there twice in the last couple of weeks, course condition is the best I've played all year, it's pretty flat so the walk isn't too bad, i will definitely be playing their alot more.

From the moment we arrived staff very welcoming checked in by very nice lady who took details of booking and given keys to buggy outside clubhouse,all was brilliant greens excellent very quick fairways very good for time of year,only probs was people teeing off close to players on greens on two holes,but nothing bad about it,pace of play brilliant and halfway house open for drinks and hot food.overall great day out thanks all.

Not a bad little course, friendly staff and some challenging holes.
