This is a course I’ve played before friendly club in the Cheshire countryside.great experience fairways and greens in excellent condition and the layout suits all handicaps great value for money and would strongly recommend

Really enjoyed this course. We’ve had a lot of rain but course was in good condition and greens really well kept.

Course was on winter tees. Playing shorter but couldn’t fault conditions. Greens were good . Would like to play in summer.

A wet , but enjoyable day at Helsby.
Course in good condition excepting closed 3rd& 4th holes , that were waterlogged.
Some forgiving wide fairways with challenging Par 3’s, the pleasant countryside and green landscape of Cheshire added to what was an enjoyable day’s Golf as we move into Autumn.
Will be back to play this quiet well tended course. Hope the bar is open at the end of the round next time .

Had to walk off on the 15 after nearly 5 hours ridiculous to many people players on course and slow play

Golf course seem really nice we stood around for long periods of time 5 hours and still didn’t finish had to walk off on the 15 very disappointed taking to long for a round of golf

Friendly staff great amenities .The course is in fantastic condition eye candy . Fantastic layout great variety of holes .Highly recommended

The course is really well looked after and was an absolute bargain as a hot deal. Would definitely play again. The staff and members were also very welcoming in the clubhouse, which is not always the case with visitors.

As my colleagues said, even though we played the course on a reduced rate we would paid the full rate, which compared with other courses we have played recently of a similar cost represents excellent value for money.
Whilst we were waiting for our tee time there was thunder and lightning resulting in a heavy downpour, which though slowing the greens down slightly were still fast due to them drying out so well.
The only negatives were that some of the fairway grass was a bit long, that you could be virtually on top of your ball, yet not be able to see it, though they did have the tractor mower out cutting the fairway grass back to more manageable levels, and that a couple of tees/greens are too close to each other, but then that is how the course has been laid out for x number of years: if it's not broken why fix it.

I really like Helsby... A nice layout, course in good condition and greens always great. Well worth playing.

Absolutely beautiful greens. Tees could have done with a little tlc but no major issues. Greens more than made up for them

Played here for the first time with two colleagues. We all enjoyed the course and for what we paid it was an absolute bargain. I'll most certainly be booking another round soon!

Played here today for the first time and considering it rained for hours before the course held up so well - Greens were fast but in good condition. Think this is my new favourite course

Great value course, well laid out and well kept! Only issue was draining holes in the green needed rolling as a couple of greens were incredibly bobbly Which was a shame - definitely worth a visit though!!

Great course, very well looked after, only played it 3 times, but will be returning many more.
