First time

Playing for the first time for £25 can’t beat it. Was high winds and on some holes was 3 club lengths different but what a day we had what a course for the price which is normally expensive and can see why during summer would gladly pay £50 haha in summer hahaha

Love this place

We dropped on a lucky sunny, warm day in January- the course was wet with a couple of temp greens but we thoroughly enjoyed it anyway. The greens that were open were very good for the time of year. Excellent course can’t wait to go back in the summer

Wet Fairways - Brilliant Greens

Playing in a wet November means you should always wear your waterproofs... And these fairways did not let me down in that respect. There was a lot of saturated areas, but also a lot of dry-ish areas which were easy to play from.

There was only one winter green in operation, the rest of the greens were fantastic and rolled true to form.

Don't expect 30 yards of run from your drives, or 10 feet of backspin on the greens - this is winter after all! Otherwise a great course with a variety of holes in terms of challenge and difficulty. Looking forward to returning in the Summer.

Don't forget your waterproofs. Don't forget your towels. And don't forget to clean your clubs when you get home!

Temp greens

I'm sure this is a fantastic course when fully open, unfortunately when we played there were 5 temporary greens, 1 hole was shut, it would be a good idea to inform people when booking this is the condition you are paying for. Also the greens had been spiked. Like I said I'm sure it's a fantastic course when played at the right time of year, views are beautiful,
I think the only problem is the lack of prior knowledge of course conditions
