Reviews
Beautiful and challenging course
I thoroughly enjoyed my round at Lancaster GC. The course was in great condition. Greens ran true and had a good pace to them. Plenty of bunkers positioned in a way that made you think about your shot choice. Very few blind tee shots despite undulating course. I would definitely play again.
Marvelous course
I loved every hole, there is a amen corner, beautiful views, great greens.
Cracking course
Excellent course as you would expect fairways and greens in great condition. Some great views also. There were a few blind holes which would have helped with markers. Cost me on the ninth I hit a good drive to find it in the driving range. On the whole a great place to visit. Normally pricey but got a golf now deal at £36 didn’t think was bad.
Lancaster
Always a pleasure to play not played it for about 15 years still as good.
Pro shop really helpful.
It’s ok for £20
As I utilise tee off times I play a number of courses and have paid as little as £7 for a round on a good track.
Lancaster is always expensive so when the opportunity arises for a cheaper round it’s worth a visit but it’s not worth £50 , at its peak.
It’s a good course with some interesting and challenging holes and the greens are excellent.
It’s good value for money offered by tee off times but not if you pay full price, you may be disappointed
Autumn afternoon
Booked through tee times
Paid £20 what a bargain
Never get tired of playing this track even at this time of the year
Proper winter tees , we preferred to move the ball in to 1st cut instead of using mats provided
Really nice welcome and explanation of the course from the pro shop
Spoke to a few members going round
Really nice people
Very highly recommended especially at the rate we managed to get
Lovely course
Among the best greens I've ever played.
Had heavy rain but course coped very well and drained well.
Pricey course but worth it.
Lovely setting ideal for long hitters
Very open parkland setting. Ladies be warned though, there are 7 par fives.
Excellent course
This course is one of the best in Lancashire with some stunning views. The greens had been cored but they were still a good pace . The quality of the tees and fairways was for the time of year excellent. Some very tough long holes but play well and you get rewarded . The main defence of this course are the greens when up to speed they are frightening with some severe breaks . My only tip is don't go past the flag or you will three putt land .
