Good little Par 3 course

Good little course, very short holes mainly, whether was a bit rubbish so conditions were very heavy. Can imagine in summer it would be a great warm up course as can do it in just over an hour. The only issue is a bit of a confusing layout but great place to go for £12 if you haven't got time for a full 18

Nice little 12 hole Par 3

Good par 3 12 hole course, Greens and fairways in good condition and well kept, layout is good although you have to cross the car park to access the back 6 holes, perfect for practising iron play and puttting or introducing someone new to golf, the only negative is the price, at £15 per person i think thats very expensive to say its only a 12 hole par 3, as for an extra £10 you can usually get on the main 18 hole course which is a lovely course by the way.
Overall a nice little course but over priced in my opinion

Derby Course is a joke

Did not end up playing. Booked for 18 holes at an incredible price of £18 for two. Email confirmed 18 holes on the Derby course. Having never played there before, we were amazed to find that it was a 3 hole pitch and putt. No space on either of the other two courses, so did not play.
Do not know if I was intentionally mislead, but not at all happy and am £18 lighter.
Fortunately we could get a game at the nearby Moor Allerton course, but that cost £70.

Great for my first time out

Beginner to golf this was my first time out in a long time so can’t compare to others but have always enjoyed coming here to the driving range and found the par 3 really good to get me going. Probably not very challenging for most but just enough for me.

There was an issue with the booking they said to not book through golf now as instead of booking me onto the par 3 it booked me onto the main course. Thankfully the first 6 holes of the par 3 is reserved for golf football on a Saturday until 3.40 and our booking was 2.50 so we Played the back 6 twice. Was good value booking through the app so will have to see if we use it again if it causes us a problem.

The Oaks

The Oaks is a 12 hole short 3 par course. The first six holes are shared with the FootGolf players. The second six holes are a walk across the car park to the side of the range.
The first six holes were in decent order.
All fairways were cut and nice greens. However, the second six had terrible greens on 7 and 9 which had been dug up in places by rabbits and had droppings on them. Hole 11 had deep pitch marks that hadn’t been repaired.

My experience at Leeds golf club

I have played both the Oaks course and the Driving range,on a few occasions and always enjoy this venue,it is very well presented and love going, sometimes only for a coffee, staff always very pleasant and go out of there way to make sure you have everything you need, Love it.
