A hidden gem

What a delight to find this course ticked away but also so close to the M1 for easy access. Pro shop was excellent, great coffee machine, better than Starbucks and half the price.
Course is challenging, but fair. Rewards straight driving , but doesn't overly punish errant tee shots. Great mixture of holes, and the par 3s are magnificent.
Greens excellent for October , and course clearly drains well. Such a shame that Covid prevented us from spending an hour in the bar debriefing.
Will definitely return , and highly recommend this course for a great day out .

Great course!

I’m new to golf, this was the second course I ever played, my first 18 hole, this was my 4th round of golf. Probably not the most ideal for a new comer, but it’s a wonderful place to be.

I liked it so much the first time I played it again.

Great course at a very reasonable price.
Good fully stocked Pro shop and a halfway house that was open mid week which was unexpected.
Great setup and the greens in particular were in fantastic nick.

Great Course, Greens immaculate.

This is the second time I've played Low Laithes and will hopefully get there more often. Fantastic course with the greens in amazing condition.
Slight disappointment as we had to miss the 16th & 17th holes due to a 4 ball that was THREE groups in front of us which meant by the time we caught them up we were waiting a good 10 minutes until we got to the tee box which shouldn't happen. It was disappointing not to get the full 18 in although we took it on the chin and walked straight to the 18th from 15th. It certainly won't stop me from visiting again.

All in all a very enjoyable afternoon.

Great value for money

Loved this course today, really enjoyable, lots of variation in the holes, greens in good condition, fairways good too, even with all the rain we've had recently. Paid £15 for the round, plus a fiver for a trolley. Some of the holes do crossover with greens and tees but it's not big deal. No driving range but their is a putting green. Overall a great experience, staff were friendly enough, didn't go in the clubhouse so can't comment on that.
