Great idea and good layout but …

Great layout and potential but really poor condition. It barely passes as a golf course in its present state. It’s meant to be a copy of some great golf holes but that’s a far as it goes. Poorly cut unevengreens non existent bunkers,. Fairways okay. At least it was cheap at £10. But that’s as good as it got. West London which is not far away is a far superior course for not much more

Worst golf course I have ever played

Golf course was very overgrown. Greens were overgrown and looks like they have never been cut. Tee boxes full of diverts. Bunkers had more grass than the tee boxes.
Awful course do not waste your money!!!!!!!!

Worst course I’ve ever played

I already reviewed this separately but this needed another review.

The course was beyond unplayable and looked abandoned. Most of the holes were littered with range balls and it was clear nobody maintains it. The greens were so unkept that I didn’t bother putting. The bunkers were all muddy and overgrown. Altogether disgusting course.

Outrageous that they still have it open and take people’s money (albeit £10) to play. I would have felt cheated if I played it for free. I cannot stress how poor this course was. Better off playing in a cornfield.

Worst course ever!

This is by far the worst course I ever played. Firstly, reception were confused that I had booked via the GolfNow app and spent a while fumbling on the computer to see if my booking had come through.

Then there’s the course…

I hit the the green on the first hole but spent a while looking for my ball as it was riddled by range balls from the range next to it. The course was unapologetically unplayable and I didn’t putt on any of the holes as it was a waste of time. The bunkers all had the same muddy brown and overgrown aesthetic to them which was fitting for the rest of the course.

I wouldn’t even describe this course as unplayable. It looks abandoned (and not recently).

I’m appalled that they would continue to advertise it as a genuine course and continue to take people’s money. I’m also disappointed in GolfNow for endorsing this course as an option on your website/app. Genuinely shocked that they still charge for this. Although, having only managed 3 holes before deeming it completely unplayable, I’d have been disappointed if I was invited to play for free. That said, a full refund would be a just reconciliation for the state of this course.

Awful Condition - Course seems forgotten about

Paid £68 for 4 people to play 9 holes around this course after I recommended we play here due to it being a well looked after course the last time I played here (about 2-3 years ago). This could not have been further from the truth as it just seems as if the course has been forgotten about. From not having scorecards or pencils to go round with, to the tee boxes becoming overgrown and not marked out. As well as probably the worst state of putting greens I have ever seen. If there is a way of getting our money back I would sincerely hope I can do so, as we only managed to complete one hole and this course should not be being advertised on a website like this.

Terrible course conditions

The driving range is good fun and great value if in a larger group. However, the 9 hole course is not the best condition. Much of the course is overgrown, the rough is at knee height in most places, the bunkers don’t have any sand and have weeds in them, and the greens are brown and have sand and weeds growing out of them. The course needs a lot of maintenance at the moment but it could be a good course. If you want a cheap course just to knock off the rust, it isn’t too bad but I wouldn’t recommend it if you’re an avid golfer.

Terrible course conditions but cheap price

The fairways are relatively good and the price isn’t too bad. Other than that, the rest of the course is in shoddy condition. Much of the course is overgrown, the rough is at knee height in most places, the bunkers don’t have any sand so you’re just hitting dirt, and the greens are brown and have sand and flowers growing out of them.

Very badly kept

Played here after a few years. Very very badly maintained. First hole must have had over 200 range balls all over it. All the greens have weeds and moss. Fairway is overgrown and terrible

Shocking experience

Worse golf course I have ever played and would never play here again even if it is free.
The condition of the course was terrible, all the greens were brown, bare with loads of weeds. The bunkers had no sand and full of weeds and we’re unplayable.
The rough had been left unkempt and was too overgrown.
The tees were not marked with hole numbers.
Generally the whole course has not had any maintenance for a long time.
Avoid at all cost.
