Ogbourne Downs

Great course with plenty to think about on an exceptionally windy day . Amazing views from the top of the course which really is the very top of the downs. Condition excellent considering the amount of recent rainfall. A fair few blind drives but plenty of well placed marker posts . Winds were circa 35 to 40mph which were as high as they've had for a couple of years according to the friendly members and bar staff. All in all a good test , everyone enjoyed it in our 4-ball.

Amazing course

Played here for few months now and hated it at first but that’s because you need to know where not to go because of all the hills. Now I love it, always amazing condition through out the winter. Defo recommend

Great course, really enjoyable round and friendly staff…. only suggestion would be some yardage posts at side of the fairways instead of discs in the middle

A wee jem

Played here on a Friday a
S part of a society course was dry but greens were excellent and although not overly long it does have some wonderful holes and the contours of the greens really means that youn need to put approach shots in the right place to par holes, huge clubhouse with good food and members very amiable. Although over an hour from my house would travel here again for a game

A good work out!

This course makes full use of the rolling hills it finds itself on. It feels like you go top to bottom and back up again almost every hole, which leaves it with no dull holes. Great views. There are a fair mix of long and short holes, but driver remains a fair option on all non-par3s.
Course was in good condition, there were a few things to possibly nit-pick about, but it would be exactly that. I played in the good weather, with no wind.
I was held up quite a bit, particularly to the end of the round, but I would be reluctant to judge too much as I was a single ball on a fairly busy course.
Would definitely recommended if you are in area, would happily play again.

Not a very interesting golf course apart from two holes on the back 9. Definitely not my first choice.
I prefer malborough golf club, better greens and course layout.
