Very Average

Not helped by recent weather (and extremely boggy with uncut fairways), however this is a very basic Golf course. Not necessarily easy due to some fairly long Par 4s but the holes lack imagination and are just very straight forward. I’m possibly biased or spoilt by playing better courses in Cambs/Beds regularly, however in comparison this isn’t value for £50 per round.

Positives were Greens rolled ok, staff friendly and they have compressed air to help remove the mud afterwards.

So many higher handicappers

Beware if you are a decent player. Won't be a quick round and the greens are average at best.

Not impressed

No distance markers other than 150 yard ones which were very difficult to spot and no distances to hazards shown on tee. Greens not bad but fairways could do with more work. Flag poles could stay more upright too. Overall found it to be quite a boring course. Better price at the course than teeofftimes offer!!

Very good course

Not too challenging if you play nice and easy and hit the fairways, but if you go into the rough you'll be in DEEP trouble, literally. Very easy to lose balls in the deep roughs here. Course is well maintained and not overly challenging, very few water amd sand hazards along the course. But very enjoyable for a mid-high handicap player like myself.
