New course, that is spread out over a new development. Sky caddie was there this past week and will map course soon. Clubhouse is still being built so they are working out of a trailer. Friendly and helpful staff will go out of their way to make your experience enjoyable, Would definitely go back

A new course - fairways and greens in very good condition, all in the middle of a stark landscape. Layout has some interesting features (large boulders in the middle of some fairways, rolling terrain). But without a course map or guidebook or a GPS system on the cart it was impossible to determine distances to hazards and other "target" areas. NO YARDAGE MARKERS ON THE PAR-3s!!!

Distances between greens and next tee can be quite significant, so walking isn't practical.

Normally when a new course still has significant construction continuing (as Victory does), the green fees reflect that. $100 (incl taxes) is too much for this course at this time.

Bottom line, Victory is not yet deserving of the significant hype it has received - it may in the future, but not now. Give it another year before trying this course.

Looks to be a great course once it grows in, and development is complete. Some tricky holes with no direction as to where to aim, and without any map you are perplexed. Needs either a diagram at the tee box, or layout map showing the hole, bunkers, and OB. If the carts had GPS maps that would also help.

Pro shop cashier very condescending, course was very wet in fairways, superintendent decides to water greens between 2 back back t times , real cluster. Saw beverage cart on 2nd and 16 th hole, 93 degree day, then she told us that would be last call at 1:00. No signs/direction from one hole to another, and no where is there a diagram on how hole design layout etc. I know this is a new course, however they need to really fine tune customer service, and course information etc.

This course is a fun layout. It works its way through some very need white colored boulders at the base of the White Tank Mountains. The greens are a bit inconsistent but that is to be expected on a new course. Enjoyable to play. The only gripe is that since the course is so new, the supporting facilities are not finished yet. Clubhouse, cartpaths are not there yet. Alot of home construction in the area.

Hole 18 is pretty awesome!! I also liked hole number 2 which is a par 3 with a huge boulder next to the green...

Very nice desert course. Very young yet with a temporary clubhouse, no gps capabilities and no published rating/slope. For being this young, the course was in great shape and fun to play.

You'll have to play this course a few times before experience dictates when and where you need to place your ball. Luckily I had someone that's been around the track to help. Greens were firm as one might expect for a new course but putted pretty true. These will be awesome when course matures. They are difficult to putt though; lots of undulations. Had some wind with us on the back which proved tricky. Greens and fairways are in excellent condition for a relatively new course. Play it, you'll like it!

Nice layout. LOTS of construction around (quite noisy). Tee boxes are HARD (need hammer). Greens are average in quality/speed. Course needs to provide a course layout book with yardages, target lines, tips for play of holes, etc. This course does NOT exist in most GPS apps. Nothing special, especially for price. I would look elsewhere for the scenery, conditions, & cost.

Traveling from New York, I was very excited to get on an Arizona, signature dessert style course. This was the first on one I hit, found a great HOT DEAL and played for an extremely reasonable price. Unbelievable greens, true as they get. Fairways are in great shape, and if you're like me and love scenery when on the course, this is the course to play. The view of the desert and the mountains of Arizona are picture worthy to say the least. Definitely will he coming back to the area and playing this course many times.

First time I played this course. It was a pleasant surprise, it was a good layout and good risk reward holes. First time you can't see everything that is out in front of you in the fairway, and there are some surprises. Played from the 6300 yd tees and it worked out great.. Greens are not easy because of all the levels, mounds, and large size.

Bad part is all the rocks on the sides of the fairways. If you miss the fairway by even a foot of two, good luck finding or hitting your ball.

As of me writing this review for Victory golf course... it is not even 3 months old. It is a baby golf course for mature golfers. There are still some cart paths that need to be paved. Direction signs that need to be staked. GPS to be located. Greens to grow firm. Residents to move in. A clubhouse to be built. But make no mistake about Victory at Verrado... it has wonderful potential. It is still going through growing pains. They are closing the golf course for a good 4 months after the month of May to further help the growth of this nice golf facility.

Just like its cool big brother, the Founders golf course, Victory will be nothing short of a wonderful golf experience. Again, that word is... experience. The look. The feel. The playability of any golf course worth its salt takes good time. Founders and Victory should not be compared one to another. They are two totally different set-ups, but both are enjoyable to play.

Tom Lehman, and crew, have done another great work in sculpting Victory out of rock (literally). Whatever side of the Phoenix valley you live, or a snowbird temporarily residing, you must get out and play Victory and give it an understandable chance. It will test all parts of your golf game, but scenic views and great course conditioning are also welcome distractions at Victory.

Played the new Victory course since I loved the Founders Course during my last visit. This place is great. The staff was very nice. The course was wonderful. Could be tough if you don't hit the ball well. Very fair and fun layout, Many of the holes have there own personality which I really like. greens and bunkers were 5 star. Local knowledge could really help on the putts inside 10 feet and the subtle breaks are tough to read IMO.I would really make this a place to play if your in the area. I will be back for sure.

Its new and they don't have a clubhouse yet on this course. I'm sure it will be awesome once they get one built.
