Great Saturday Round
This was my first time playing this course. The layout is great and there are some challenging holes. Overall the course conditions were great. However, there were some rough patches and depressions on the greens but you can see they are working to restore them. Greens are still playable and fast. I would recommend to play this course.
Challenging but Fun
Nice course and much improved conditions since greens were restored. Some rough spots, but dramatically better than last summer.
Greens Are TERRIBLE
Greens are absolutely unplayable. Price is absurd (might be worth $15). Poor planning, planting greens at end of August last year. Looks like it'll be 2 years before they're playable.
Greens are not playable. Not worth $44 a person right now. Will be going to west pines
Greens
The greens need help. I would wait until mid June or July before going back.
Horrible. Greens
Should give guest and members a discount on the condition of the course. Horrible greens .
The greens were terrible as they are going through re-seeding. It was like putting on concrete. The golf cart we had failed on us on the fourth hole.. The batteries died. It took almost an hour for us to get another cart. The second cart battery indicator started flashing on the 8th hole.
Didn't have time to finish the round, but the pro-shop did comp. us a round due to the difficulties we faced.
Every time I book this course on GolfNow there are issues.
Greens were covered with sand, only 9 holes were open, and golf cart slowed to a trickle with 8 holes left. We requested a new cart but it never came, we had to push the cart up hills. We were not informed of the sand or the back 9 being closed prior to the round.
Fun course but rough greens
We had a great time in part because of the honest and proactive golf pro who called to make sure I knew the greens were heavily damaged from winter kill. By setting proper expectations, we took that in stride and enjoyed our round. Smart move on their part. Green fees where discounted too. Hope they can recover the greens this summer.
Bad greens
Fairways are in great shape
Greens are horrible.
Don't know if they will ever get them back.
Awful!!
Don’t play this course yet
Replaced greens last year, haven’t come in yet. Once the greens are grown in it’ll be a good course, but definitely not worth 50$ per round right now.
no discount
we played on the Friday after Thanksgiving and asked for a senior discount. We were told that they didn't give discounts on holidays and today was black Friday. BLACK FRIDAY IS NOT A HOLIDAY!!! The kicker was that the greens were in terrible shape, covered in sand and very little grass. Why pay full price and have the course unplayable because of the greens? Definitely would not recommend or play again.
Not yet
Greens are not ready for play in my opinion. Just had new greens put in and some have better growth than others. Condition of the greens,is still not worth the time or money to play .65 bucks for that??? Much nicer courses around at a better value for sure. Give this course a couple years before wasting your money now.
Should have been told that the greens were closed!!
No greens
Literally...no greens. Holes poked in the middle of the fairways. No putting possible. A sham that they charged money for this "experience." Ridiculous.
Should be closed
Booked online, no notes that all 18 greens are being replaced. The temporary green are a hole in the middle of the fairways. It would have been smart to use old green to make temp. Greens. Horrible.it felt like a over priced range using your own balls.
Misinformation
During booking, we were not informed that all greens were ‘temporary greens’.
I really wanted to love this course
My GPS took me through back dirt roads to get to the place.
The staff wasn't friendly as I had to initiate communication. I was charged $15 ($7.50 a piece for my wife and me) just to use the driving range to warm-up with about 20 - 25 balls.
Very little on course directions to next holes. GPS shut off- cart a couple pf times saying 90 Degree rule was in effect while I was driving straight close to the cart path (duh) GPS also shut off cart saying I was too close to green when the physical cart directional sign was at least 20 yards away.
There were at least three holes with crazy blind-shots from the tee-box with no way to tell when it was safe to hit..
Most green suffered with fungus HOWEVER, the greens did roll true and that was the only good thing about this course.
As I was returning the cart, I ask an old cart guy where to park it and he said "put it over there" in a huffy way. After I parked it I said "Thank you" "WHAT?!" he said. I said "Thank you". He replied "Oh, Oh, yeah, hava nus day....:
That was my round from Hades and I will not make a bee-line to play it again if it cost $20. I will probably play it one more time with my regular flight because they have it on their list of golf courses to play.
After that, never again and would have to think about it EVEN if it was FREE.
OH, I almost forgot!!!!! The outdoor restroom (ONE) was boarded up which was too bad for my wife; as for me, "It's GREAT to be a KING" "Hello Trees".
I certainly won't pay to use the driving range as I believe the charge was bogus.
I told my wife I would NOT initiate a review unless I was asked.
Just my opinion since you asked.
Great Place To play.
Overall since we have had over 5 inches of rain. Course was in good shape. Few greens have some spots but rolled great. Cart path only today but pace was great.
