always fun
I always have a good time playing St Mark's exec, challenging yet familiar and a lot of fun holes
Friendly staff
Friendly staff but still suffering from storm damage. The 18th hole green has damaged as if some drove across it making for a tough putt
St Mark's exec
Got HotDeal off GolfNow and used voucher with that.
Foursome of seniors. Cart rental was extra. Had rained previous couple of days, so "cart path only". More walking around than preferred looking for errant shots....but understandable. Pace of play was good. Completed round in 3 1/2 hrs. Enjoyed food & beverage after round. Menu was limited for appetizers, but quality of good was good.
Overall a good experience.
Please speed up
You were very strict about carts on paths but let slow social golfers plod along all day . Please reinforce speed as well
Nice neighborhood course
Really cool little course north of town. Played 18 with my wife and 7 year old daughter. A lot of fun and next time in SE we will definitely be there. No driving range or short game area but Links at Lakehouse is just down the road for warm up.
Shhhh. Don’t tell anyone about this place
Seriously THE best staff, carts, and course layout of any exec course in SoCal. A totally hidden gem that is great if you’re playing with families and new players, small groups, and even just getting to know the local neighbors.
The Pro staff is super chill and not stuffy like other courses.
If you want a longer course, The Links is a great option too and is a partner course within a mile of the Exec.
Pretty sure I play here 3-5 times per month and it’s always a good time.
Beautiful course
Awesome greens, sands need some attention, all in all great experience
Advise to wait for Cali to dry out
Always a fun layout, greens were good and fair. Problem was course, which has wet spots in best of times, was soggy from recent rains, and mowing restriction from rains made for patches of deep clover in rough making it difficult to find wayward balls and hacking it out as if playing US Open. Look forward to playing here again when moisture level returns to normal.
Cancelled due to rain
Did not play due to rain, called the course and notified you was still charged $47 looking for a full credit or I’ll fight this charge through my account.
Fun little course.
Awesome little course set in a beautiful location. I definitely plan on playing here again. The pace was a bit slow, so it’d be nice if there was a marshal or some worker to control the pace of play.
Good course
Nicely maintained, great layout, good challenge for a new hack golfer like me. Was a bit wet this time around from rain so green were sticking ball.
Overall, it doesn't feel like your average cheap excuse for a par three. It feels more professionally maintained and run.
A beautiful course to work your short game!
I really do love this course. They take great care of the greens and landscaping is beautiful. If you like working on your short game and want to do it with class and quiet, this is my go-to spot. Lots of shade, up and downhill challenges. You can walk the course no problem If you’re up for the exercise.
The bunkers were hard packed mud, but I only had to get out of there once. So I’m not gonna complain about those.
I love how the first hole is over a beautiful fountain, yet an easy approach wedge full swing will get it in the air and on the green.
There are a few holes where you can use your 3 Wood, or maybe even your driver if you hit short. Hole 16 for instance. But advance players could get away with only irons and wedges. Perhaps a rescue three hybrid as well.
There are a lot of great opportunities for a hole-in-one, or eagle throughout the gorgeous, winding layout and it makes you forget that you’re in the middle of San Marcos!
For the money, you’ll love it and come back again.
