About
The Club at Savannah Harbor is steeped in Southern charm, offering dramatic views that span from the surrounding wetlands of the Back River to Savannah's famous Historic District. Sam Snead and Bob Cupp designed the golf course. Their ultimate goal was to bring to life the philosophy of "risk and reward." For example, a well executed shot placed near a hazard is rewarded with less club to the green or a better approach angle, or even both. The putting surfaces have gentle transitions to different pin locations, making them more traditional than modern. The designers incorporated another classic design element, the greens have subtle roll-offs or collars that fall away, a feature of golf courses from the 1930s and 40s. Golfers can also use the club's large, duel-ended practice facility.

Club at Savannah
Friendly staff. Gorgeous course. Whites are a little long for most seniors. A hybrid of green and white tees would fix that problem. Great pace of play and great layout. Bring your “A” game
Slow play
We had a 1:57 tee time and the first was backed up so we teed off 20 minutes late. Play was very slow and not one ranger was around to keep things on track. We were unable to finish our round (completed 15 holes) due to darkness. Then the clubhouse announced they want the carts in by 5:30. I’m a fan of this course but they should keep play moving better.
Nice layout. Variety of tees . Fair test
Nice course. Greens a little rough but still good. Generous fairways but still a good test. Fairways not overseeded.
Windy day at Savannah Harbor
Enjoyed the day. Course still in winter dormant grass but greens were fast and hard. Even faster with the wind drying out. Still need some poe treated on the greens. Good value thru Golf Now
Great Layout
This track is a classic design (Sam Snead) with a modern feel to it. Well placed bunkers will keep you focused on shot selection. Great condition with some of the best greens around. Enjoy!
Winter conditions overall in good shape pace was good we were 4 hours slow two groups ahead of us first 9, good day of golf
