Hole seventeen can be the source of disappointment if the tee ball doesn’t land in play, but it can also be a birdie hole when it does. Photo submitted by AptlyLinked on 04/30/2023

Great course but don't miss lunch afterwards
Love Timberlin. The course is always in great shape and the people are so friendly. Course is challenging but always fun to play. Don't eat before you play since you will want to go to Remzi's Restaurant afterwards. The best golf course restaurant I have ever gone to and one of the best restaurants period for Friday or Saturday night dinner specials.
Course in great shape, as usual!
Starter, Pro, and golf shop help are always friendly and make you feel like you're important to them. One time when I was playing there with my girl friend, a group cut in front of us at the 1st tee box. The starter felt bad. While we were out on the course, he drove out there, gave us some golf balls, and gave us a rain check for 9 holes.
Always Good
The staff is always helpful , friendly and conditions of the course are fine. Oh yes don't forget the Ramzy's
(19th hole) picture perfect!
Great value and will continue to return .

Greast day
Had great weather and the course was in very good condition. Only complaint was a foursome on the back nine that was very slow.. Waited on three holes on every shot even though there was two holes open in front of them. Finally just skipped a hole and passed them and enjoyed the rest of the day.
Enjoyable round
Course is in good condition, interesting layout, friendly staff. Round took just over 4 hours as a 3some, not too bad. Greens rolled nicely, though on the slow side.
Timberlin
Course is always fun . Today the greens were extremely slow . Also
2 groups cut out in front of our group on the 16th hole . Course needs better management and etiquette , maybe a ranger to prevent this bs.
Nonresident
If you are not a resident of Berlin, you can’t get a tee time on the Weekend. Something is wrong with this.
Disappointing Conditions
Nearly 1 month after being aerated, the greens are still beyond Painfully slow with visible aeration holes. Several bare spots are starting to appear on the greens and the bunkers are not always raked and have fallen into general disrepair. The town thinks this course is a GEM, when in reality, every area course has far superior greens and is generally maintained much better. I play Timberlin weekly and the greens are maybe in good condition with decent speed, 3-4 weeks out of the entire year. The Pro and his staff are friendly and professional. Come on Town of Berlin, get your act together!
Hi, thank you so much for leaving us with your feedback. We value our customer experience, so your review is important to us. Please know the current conditions are by no means the standard we strive to achieve. We will continue to work towards a 5-star experience and we hope to see you back!
Unfriendly staff
First time and probably the last time I will play this course.Staff in Pro shop are rude and treat people who are not regulars and use GolfNow for Tee Times very poorly. Not sure why this golf course is part of GolfNow if they don’t want people playing there.
Left the pro shop to find the shed with the keys for the cart only to return again to the pro shop for a scorecard as there wasn’t any on any carts.
I never knew that asking for a scorecard at a golf course was a unreasonable request but it sure seemed that way with the person working there.
The course itself was a little wet from all the rain but still very playable. The fairways and tea boxes were in good condition with some standing water but that was to be expected. Most of the greens were in good condition but some had small bare patches and a lot of ball marks
The course layout was good with varying lengths on the par threes and driver is not always the best choice on the par fours.
Golf cart paths are mainly just around the tee boxes and a lot of golfers probably regulars were walking. The pace of play was good as the course wasn’t crowded and we finished in under 3 1/2 hours.
We received more attitude when returning the golf cart and key so decided not to prolong our stay.
Overall I would say that the golf course is good but unless you are a regular or like being treated poorly I would play somewhere else.

Timberlin 1st Time
It was a decent experience, played late am on a weekday, if I lived nearby would likely play more often, might be a tad overpriced compared to other muni's I have played in CT.
We appreciate you taking the time to review the course and rate us. We are going to pass on your feedback to the team. Thanks for visiting Timberlin Golf Club, and we hope to see you again in the future.
Great value
Great layout, Value & Friendly atmosphere.
I moved to Berlin Ct to make Timberlin Golf Club my home course.
Aeration
Always a very nice course but the greens were just aerated and they did not give any indication of this when I booked my tee time on the web site. I was surprised when I was told in the pro shop and was informed that it was posted on social media sites which didn’t help me at all. Nothing on the site where you book tee times.
Timberline
Good course interesting holes. Wish GolfNow had told me they are aerating the greens when I was booking.
Always Worth Playing
Note to self...check with golf course BEFORE booking to check aeration schedule. Got there to find front 9 was closed and back 9 was just aerated. Rest of course was in great shape, just don't like playing Planko on the greens!
Thank you so much for leaving us with your feedback. We value our customer experience, so your review is important to us. We will make note and we hope to see you back at Timberlin Golf Club!
