Terrific Modern Back 9
The back 9 is the newer 9 and was designed by Rocky Roquemore. The front 9 is the original 9 and is more basic than the back 9. The back 9 has larger built-up greens and has decent land movement. The final 2 holes incorporate the lake between the two 9's well.
While this is not a course to go out of your way to play, I found my round quick and enjoyable.
Christmas Eve Fun!
Driving range was okay but a bit small. Course was in good condition considering the time of year. Cart paths need some work and tee boxes on a few holes need work for sure. They were not flat and almost like a mound. No signs or hole designation. We were flying blind between each hole on which way to go. The map on scorecard was good but we found the distances not accurate. It was a beautiful day to golf in the south and we had a blast.
Fair Course / Average Conditions
I've been playing this course for about ten times.
It is pretty straight forward, there are not traps in the way and you find nearly every ball. But the conditions and the maintenance are not very good. The grass on the driving range, the tea boxes, on the fairways and on the green is very long, nearly too long to play properly. The overall maintenance is not too bad.
The staff is very friendly and the food is average as well.
The training facilities are not that good, because the green is very small and the driving range is too short.
