Beautiful course. Fast greens
Fairways are not lush. Much like the muni's. The greens are great. Fast. Beautiful vistas. I would recommend it highly.
Save your money
This 9 hole whole course is in poor condition. We ate at the restaurant and waited 45 minutes for our burgers and there were hardly any other customers.
Great vibes
Great warm up. What a super cool place.
I maintain a golf course and know the difference between eye candy and "hey let's go play some golf". This is a go play some golf course. Sure the greens are postage stamps that stimp about 6. Only a holes complain about that when paying $28. I recommend playing it twice for the 18 if you're serious about being ready for the more expensive and challenging courses the island has to offer. Hit up the club house after for a bite and drink, island hospitality at it's best 👍
Oldest course in Hawaii.
Was 18, but changed to 9 a while back.
Rough around the edges, but payed back and fun.
Cafe recently reopened. The cafe is excellent.
Had a good time.
Gem for a quick 9.
Must play and I think underrated- it’s the oldest course on the island. I live about a mile from this course and it is very easy to walk on most afternoons for a quick 9.
Starts with a drivable par 4 that really makes you work on your course management. Miss right and you hit a house or a car. Short you are in the creek. Left is playable but might smack the group on #2 .
Ball placement is important on most holes- as there are only two where you can grip it and rip it. Greens are small. No bunkers at all! Don’t expect pristine conditions, but they are good enough to enjoy the round- especially for the price. There are some steep hills so you have to be fit-ish to walk.
There is a fairly new restaurant there with good drinks, and really solid burgers. There is no pro shop so bring what you need.
This course is a really solid relatively inexpensive municipal track that will challenge you. I hope you try it- pace of play is pretty quick and the members get testy if they have to wait on you. So just keep pace and don't lollygag when its busy.
Very Welcoming staff
An enjoyable day. The course is quite basic but it was still fun. The fairway grass is a little too long but the layout has some challenging and interesting holes. The staff within the course are extremely friendly and welcoming and I recommend staying for a meal afterwards as new management have taken over the restaurant and the food is top notch.
Great price and location
This is a nine hole course with an interesting layout and some blind holes so I decided to play 18 holes even though it is just replaying the same 9 so that I had a better idea where to aim my shots on the blind holes.
The pace of play was better for the 1st 9 that I started around 11 am and the 2nd was busier. Can't beat the price or location.
Welcoming course.
This course is owned by the members and love having people come from all over to visit. They are extremely helpful and courtious. At the time I went the restaurant was changing management and they were just getting going again.
Great 9 hole ciurse
We chose this course to ensure my husband could hit a ball after a back injury. On arrival, David was so helpful and got us set up in no time. Practice area is very basic but enough for us to try out our rental clubs. The bar and restaurant were closed unfortunately but the staff were helpful all the same. Facilities for ladies are very dated and could do with a makeover. The course was in pretty good condition and interesting and challenging enough for us to play. I particularly liked the 8th.
Great value!
Great value golf course. Semi private course, treated us well!
Great 9 but super dry
Was a fun course but unfortunately all fairways were bone Dry. The tee boxes and greens were well kept. Wasn't a great course but had some fun holes and some very nice views. I would suggest it but between the tees and greens are bone dry
Straightforward layout, short and dry, greens are excellent.
Short course with some challenging holes, fairways are very dry, greens are surprisingly excellent as compared to the fairways. Keep the ball relatively down the middle and you should have a shot at making the greens in regulation. Technically a semi-private course, with some very old members, 80+ years old, who can be a bit cantankerous, so watch your pace of play as they are all scratch shooters.
CLOSED
You sold me a tee time and the golf course is closed for maintenance I want my money back but there no way to contact GOLF NOW!!!!!!!!!!
Great golfing
Very chill and laid back. The course layout was confusing for me and some holes were double in length so maybe not a par 3 but more like a spar 4 layout. Definitely fun and worth visiting. the staff was super friendly and let me borrow all the amenities like glove, clubs, balls and even took off the tees on the carts. They were superb!
