Maui Nui Golf Club

Beautiful layout with great views. Pace of play was pretty slow. Group ahead of got two holes behind and slowed play for all of us behind them. Would have been nice to have a marshall on the course to speed up play.

I had read a lot of bad reviews about the course condition prior to our trip to Maui this year. Booked it anyway as I thought it would be a good first round on the island. I was happily surprised by the condition of the course and the greens. The fairways were in good shape in my opinion, and the greens had been healing from the winter rain and lack of sunshine damage and were just fine. A little slow maybe but much better than the reviews I had read. We played a fast paced round in right at 3 hours.

One of the best courses for the price on Maui. Back nine is very nice looking.

This course has always been our “go to” course when we visit Maui. Course is fun and challenging. They are doing work on a couple of holes so more par threes than we are used to. Staff are friendly and the restaurant, Gilligans, has good solid food at the best prices you’ll find in the Wailea area.

Played here numerous times and I enjoy the course. It’s a fun layout and the staff are always friendly. Good value for the $$$. Only thought is the greens could be worked on some..they were a little rough in places and very slow in other spots. Fairways and tees overall were in good condition. Bottom line: I like playing here when we come to Maui and would recommend the course.

Okay course for practice. It has been in better condition in the past. One par 5 is closed and has been replaced by a par 3 so slope and ratings are not available. Greens very rough so putting well for score is difficult.

Tee boxes were not good. Saw the cart lady once. No one warned us that hole 13 was closed

Wow very surprised how bad the condition of this course, they should not be charging full price at this time!!

We had fun golfing here— some of course under construction so a little confusing— no bathrooms at clubhouse a problem— only outhouse due to remodeling. Overall it was fun golfing here!

The worst conditioned golf course I have played in 10 years.
