Great value
Staff is extremely friendly. Pace of play was great. I really enjoy this course. The only issue is cart paths are in need of repair.
Dearborn CC/ A local Augusta
If you ever want to play a golf course that has sideway lives on every shot downhill uphill never a flat spot on the golf course it’s just like Augusta it’s a mountain and you got a learn how to manage wear you put your ball if you can do that you can score here but trust me one bad shot on any hole and I can be a disaster it’s amazing golf course the greens are fast and true, best value for your Buck in the area. Play golf America...
Gasp! No water to drink on the course!!
There are a couple of amenities that you EXPECT from a golf course. 1. Water to drink on the course 2. some kind of quick food or beverage (usually hotdogs). Dearborn has neither of these. The course has some nice views, and they keep it well-watered (unlike they do for the players). The biggest I have with the course layout is that many of the fairways angle toward tall weeds and woods where you will NEVER be able to recover your golf ball. If the course weren't so close to where I live, I probably wouldn't play here more than once per year.
Good golf value
Course was challenging. Lots of hills!
Pretty course.
Cart paths in really bad shape... bumpy ride.
Expensive beer, 18 bucks for a six pack of light beer.
Nice layout but so-so conditions
Played for only 10.00 using golf now. First the good. I really liked the layout. Good variety of holes. Price could not be better. The tee boxes and greens were in good shape. The guy in the pro shop was very friendly. Now the bad. Some fairways were long and it was not obvious where the fairway ended and rough started. NO drinking water on course. There are a couple of areas where signage would be helpful on where to go. Some fairways slant in one direction or another. A ball landing in the fairway will end up in the rough after rolling out. No food in the clubhouse. You have to go to Woody's which is a restaurant on the property for food. I have played here once before a few years back. I might go back again to give another try since the layout is really nice.
Can’t beat for $10
Course was not in good shape. Greens had some kind of mold or something on them, rough was insanely long, cart paths will beat you to death but for $10 what can you expect. Definitely wouldn’t pay much more than that though. Hope they get it back into shape. Used to always be in great shape especially the greens.
windy spring day
lots of hills and the wind was wicked, but the round was enjoyable even if our scores weren't. The staff was excellent and we will play the course again when the conditions are better.
Early in year
Need to cut greens and have carts ready. Hopefully it gets better in spring,
RUDE
I drove 30 minutes to play a prepaid tee time. When I got to the course I had to go to the restaurant next door. I told the person in charge that I was there to play golf. He said nope the course is closed and then turned away from me. I've played there several times in the past. NEVER MORE.
Extreme Golf of the Hilly Kind
If you like the challenge of up hill, down hill, and side hill shots, this course is for you. Most of the greens require an airial atteck, but some were receptive to shots of the bump and run kind..
Fast pace, wide open
This is a challenging hilly course. Very rare to have a flat lie. You can score if you drive the ball well. I enjoy playing this course because I have never had to wait because of slow play. Greens are average and not super fast. I'll be back for more.
Needs Some Work!
First time playing here in about two years. Greens had just been aerified not too long ago but were healing nicely! Cart paths and carts were terrible, they really need to invest in repaving the cart paths. Bunkers were more rocks then sand. Fairways were in great shape! Layout is okay, there are some goofy tee shots. Its a good course, just needs some work and it could be an awesome course.
Rollercoaster
Not a level fairway anywhere greens airated layout crazy blinded shots on lots of the holes sand just make them grass bunkers very old course let go but only payed14.00 $ played nine an left I won't be back
peaceful
Was able to play with a golf.now rate, which was great, and during the afternoon when play was light, so had a very enjoyable round. The greens held, and were undulating, and quicker than they looked, all of them. The greens also held all shots. Fairways were in good condition with some fluff for your shots. I enjoyed my round and would go back. Woodys, the restaurant on the premises, was excellent and the waitress was knowledgeable and very friendly.
Not up to par for a CC
I shoot in the mid to high 80's. This place dealt me a 97! The fairway lies on this course are mountainous. I have played rolling fairways but severely rolling and pitched at 30 degrees? If you don't hit the fairway you stand a chance of losing your ball. Grounds are not country club quality. We lost 3 balls that were spotted within 15 feet of the fairway and could not be found due to high grass and or clover. No updates have been done on the course in years and it shows. No water on course. The only bright spot was the greens - near perfect. I will not play here again......
Beautiful beautiful course!!! Friendly staff awesome experience thank you
!
Greens are way too hard for as small as they are but very fast and true
Fun course
