Great day, great. Course
Paradise Valley is absolutely beautiful! Very well maintained and great staff and amenities!
Definitely top of the list!
Great Course
Booked as a last minute Hot Deal. Very happy - course was in great shape and has enough interest for every level of golfer. My only (minor) gripe is I paid for a cart as part of my deal (as a single) but still had to share a cart...the starter said they only allow a maximum of 2 carts out with a group. If one of us had been walking then I still would have had my cart....
Great Course... Very Slow Play
Course in great condition. Provides challenging shots to the green. Unfortunately was the slowest play of all courses we played this winter/ spring. Appear to have a ranger but he doesn't do anything to speed up play. Not sure we will return.
It was my wife’s first time on any course and our first time at paradise. It was such a great course!
Beautiful day in Paradise
The course was in very good condition and the weather was perfect. It was a busy day, so the pace of play was a little slow. The round took just under 5 hours on a weekday. The sand was compacted and heavy. Otherwise, the greens, rough and fairways were well-maintained. I would definitely return.
Aerated greens
I was very disappointed because when I booked online there was no indication that the course had been recently aerated. If I had known I would not have booked the tee time there especially since there was no price reduction. I played a single and the guy I was paired with felt the sagas about the pricing
Nice course even after rain
The conditions of the course is not as bad as I thought. I am happy with the course conditions. Love to play this course again.
An afternoon at Paradise
The course was in good condition. The greens were good. Some of the traps didn't have a lot of sand in some areas (I happen to hit a ball in to one of those areas and was sitting on hard dirt) but that's a minor issue. Paradise Valley is a challenge to the high hdcp player, but pretty straight forward and you can score well on it if you hit it clean and straight. A fun course.
Truly fantastic all-around course and experience
What a great day! It was my first time here and everything about it was absolutely fantastic. What's so crazy about it is, despite it being the first dry day after a constant 4 days of rain, the course was in great shape - especially the greens - and better then any public course I've played in a year or more.
The layout is interesting and challenging without being a huge pain as long as you can hit it relatively straight. Rough was well maintained and added a little bit of a challenge but didn't affect shots really. It was good enough that I didn't lose a single ball - awesome!
Lastly, although I rode today, I think it would be one of the better courses in the area for walking or using a pushcart and I plan to walk it moving forward.
The experience was a whole other level. Round only took 3 hours 24 minutes but I saw a bunch of Marshals who were super nice, seemed genuinely interested in my enjoyment/how my game was going, and gave me multiple pieces of advice on some of the tougher-to-play holes that was invaluable.
Lastly, the quality of the facilities was top-notch. Friendly staff, great facilities, well-stocked and reasonably priced (shocking, I know) and tons of food/drink options.
I'll be back here with my regular foursome ASAP. Thanks for the great time!
Pristine Shape
Fairfield has 2 of the best public courses in Northern California.
Wet & soggy and no “Rain check”
Played holes #1,2 &3 then rain starts. By the time we reached 6th hole the course became unplayable due to water accumulation. We stopped play and returned to the clubhouse. I asked the pro shop staff for a replay credit . The response was we do not offer one.
