Ocean City Golf Club - Seaside
About
Ocean City Golf Club offers two championship courses: Newport Bay and Seaside. Opened in 1959, the Seaside Course is the club's original layout and since opening it has remained an Eastern shore favorite. It has a more traditional design than the other course, which underwent a renovation and rebuild. Seaside offers classic greens tightly lined with bunkers that are balanced with wide-open, player-friendly fairways. It is a challenging but playable test that is popular amongst locals. Five sets of tees make it even more approachable. The views of the marshes and bay, as well as the trees, give the course the feel of one in the Carolinas. In addition to the two courses, Ocean City Golf Club also offers a driving range and putting green before teeing off.

Reviews
Very enjoyable
I really enjoyed this course has a lot of long doglegs which makes you have to drive your ball strategically to one side of the fairway to get a good look at the green with your second shot on par 4s that's just how I like to play golf not just hitting it straight down the middle on every hole
YOUNG GOLFERS
We enjoyed the course. The price of the course would seem high compared to the overall look of the course. The cart paths are no where near up to date. The holes them selves are fun to play. We played seaside and had a good time while doing it. Overall good experience how were price for the course seems high itself.
Good time
I played the Seaside course. An older track but with a few charms. Some nice doglegs but overall, not too challenging. Great for us “some-r-time” golfers as well as for year rounders. 4 stars.
No See Sea
Played the Seaside Course, which went no where near any water. Hmm. Course layout was quite good, with wide friendly fairways but small raised and undulating greens. Bunker sand was excellent. Fairway grass spotty. Greens had just been punched, so no comment. Overall vibe was that of a decent muny, with plenty of friendly people around. Not a bad facility, but not silly pristine either.
Not bad
Bring a jacket. Be ready to wwait...slow moving but fun all the same...
Beautiful course, well maintained. A little hard navigating the course and amenities, however the staff was very friendly and was more than happy to help. I will be returning soon!
Below average
Lots of nice doglegs. Pretty friendly to most players. Many wonderful birds around.
It just wasn’t very nice. The conditions were not good. The greens were aerated and rolled poorly.
Not worth $60. Not “seaside.”
Play one of the many better golf courses around.
Winter golf
Nice layout. For January and a day after rain, very good condition
Nice course but please change the name
Fun course but don’t be fooled by the name. There are absolutely zero water views and this is nowhere near the sea. A couples of holes with views of matsh land and a little of the bay.
Change the name of this course please!!!
