Very nice home playing course to play on staff very nice layout of course very good

Not bad for the time of the year the course wasn't too bad for all the Heat we are experiencing

Marlton is an interesting course with several challenging holes. The course is in reasonably good condition, other than the bunkers which seem to be pretty well neglected. Pace of play was OK; i.e. 4 hours, but would have been better absent the impossibly slow threesome in front of us. Still, for anyone in southern MD, its worth a try.

Can't wait to play again. First time using golfnow app to find a course, however, it was a great deal and as well as a great course. The Marlton Golf Club is a true gem.

Solid, not extremely challenging course where you should definitely shoot your handicap. For the most part the fairways and greens were in good condition, but the tee boxes and bunkers were very uneven in their conditions. It is a shorter course, and after hitting a couple of good drives OB into the woods I mainly used irons off the tee to lay-up distances. The pro-shop is under construction, and currently shares space with the restaurant, so very limited inventory of things to buy. Staff overall was friendly and accomodating.

One of the best courses around for the money. New management has made significant improvements. course. Pace of play is much faster than other courses in the area. Staff is exceptionally friendly and helpful. Greens are in really great shape.

This course and amenities are really coming along in the most positive way. Course is very good condition considering all the precipitation this month. Staff is friendly and accommodating. Greens were a little speedy but readable. New electric carts are a plus. I like the attention/effort to improve the green on #10. Pull carts would be a nice to have. Generally the pace is fine most days, however, on busier days, the staff could be a little more attentive to starting; more effective grouping of walk-ups to keep course moving. As they offer more off-course amenities (wider selection of adult beverages and food menu), the future of this little hidden diamond in the rough is looking up.

I loved this course. The layout and terrain was just awesome. A very fun but challenging course. The rough was pretty spotty, but the owners have put their money where the golf is....the fairways were in very good shape and the greens were excellent. It is fairly short from the middle tees but still very challenging. My wife and I are trying to play golf in all 50 states and have played in 19 so far and I can say this was maybe the most fun and interesting course we have played. It's tucked way back in a neighborhood, but if you are in the DC area you owe it to yourself to find it.

The greens rolled very nicely but the sand traps needed some fresh sand after a week or more of rain. I enjoyed playing the course and appreciate all of the work which has been done by the new owners. I imagine getting a tee time will become more and more difficult due to how well the course is playing

Marlton is somewhat of an understated gem.
Most fairways are tight and run to the right or left, so if your off target watch out.
Greens were very quick, and decently protected. I spent at least half the day sunning in the beach.
New owners are investing in the property, and this course will emerge from being hidden.

First time back out on the track this year. Management and staff are working improvements. Course overall was in good shape. A number of bunkers under repair; not a big deal. When you factor in the cost of 18 holes here, course is well worth the money. All four of us were of the same opinion. Pace moved extremely well. Worth a trip. Going back out again tomorrow!

Great experience at Marlton! Very nice course. You won't find a more friendly, accommodating staff anywhere! Great price through Golf now as well! I can't say enough about the great folks running Marlton. They make it a pleasure to play there. I look forward to playing there again soon!

Need some repairs but overall in good condition . Some cart paths need repairs and greens.

I really like the layout and the bent grass greens. If they could put a bit more money into course maintenance this would be a really great value. It takes a long time to get there (50 minutes from Columbia, 40 from Alexandria and 60 from Burke) but the value pricing makes it well worth the drive. They need to put some money into the clubhouse as well.

Started playing 5 years ago and Marlton was one of the first places I played on. This course will make you use almost all of your clubs. It will test your short game as well. The new staff has really put in the work to make your round of golf very enjoyable. The greens are always looking like a championship course. We always play at Marlton 3 - 4 times a month. They are making it a place I might have to call home.
