Hole 1: Par-4, 387. Good looking hole, distinguished by its gently bending fairway and big greenside bunker (hidden from view here). Photo submitted by AptlyLinked on 08/25/2021

Hole 3: Par-4, 415: Tough driving hole where a pond awaits sliced or pushed approach shots. Photo submitted by AptlyLinked on 08/25/2021

The sixth. Number 1 index. Why so hard? The brook forces most to hit 3-wood from the tee, and it’s 575 yards long. Photo submitted by AptlyLinked on 08/25/2021

The green, seen from right flank, at the classic par-3 8th. The tee shot plays over a water hazard. Photo submitted by AptlyLinked on 08/25/2021

A par-3 that tops out at 206, seventeen requires an accurate tee shot if you hope to get aboard its green. Photo submitted by AptlyLinked on 08/25/2021

Mid season conditions in mid April
The course was in awesome shape other than a few tee boxes. The greens rolled beautifully and true. Amazing conditions considering the early season. Great kid grounds crew!
April Fools Day
Very disappointed with the condition of Oak Ridge.
The fairway condition is very bad. Sand trap is in very bad condition. Over all the golf course condition is very bad.
Staff is very friendly that’s why I gave them 5 star.
Cart were old and dirty. Overall course rating was pretty good.
Excellent shape and good price for February golf in Newengland
Course was a little damp. Greens were in excellent condition for February and as expected not being cut. Rolled true and fairly quick. Pace of play slow due to group in front. They fell 1.5 holes behind.
I realize it’s early spring. It this course never closed during the winter. If you’re going to charge $45 to walk in mid-March and you’ve been open and collecting greens fees all winter I except to play on dormant grass not pine cones and sticks.
Golf etiquette
Our only problem is slow players do not let us play through. We think you need to stress this to your members. I was president at a golf course in Maine and we used to send a copy of our course rules with the membership letter. Also we had a big sign made for the first tee with the rules listed, especially the rule that slow player must allow faster players through.
Challenging course
I have played here before and thought it was a bit of a challenge and my Friend who never played, that's so also. Lots of lay up holes and big water holes to go over. I would play It again. And maybe next time not lose a ball. 🥂
Just as I remembered it
I hadn't played here in many years, I think the last time I was here was when they first installed my Uncle Larry's memorial bench. The course was in great shape in spite of Mother Nature's fury over the past week. Coming back to play here was like visiting an old friend. I'm sure we'll be back again soon.
