The Golf Course is in poor condition

The golf course is in poor condition. You can not play the 3rd hole because the green is closed to play. The 6th hole green may end up being closed as well. 60% of the tee boxes are not level and weeds and mushrooms are growing out of them. The fairways are burnt out and preferred lies have been in place since Aug 7th. Water is available for the greens and fairways but they are not being turned on. 70% of the sand traps have dirt and no sand. This could be a wonderful golf course but it's poorly managed

New England private course with great layout and tough rough

Though Crestwood is short by today's standards the course plays much longer if you're not in the fairway with every shot. The rough is so high that finding your ball is an adventure then getting it back in the fairway is one as well. The layout is fantastic with trouble, bunkers and water hazards in most landing areas. The greens were fantastic and rolled true on every hole. If you get the chance to play this course I would highly recommend you do so.
