Very well maintained course conditions
The course was a lot of fun to play at! The fairways, rough, fringe and greens were all very well maintained. The greens were soft enough to get plenty of back spin action but not overly slow. The area is beautiful and was a great place to place, especially for the price!
Always a good experience
Basic Country Club at an average price. If you’re looking for a round at a reasonable price with the right course conditions, this is the place in Cadillac. Pace of play is also always really great. I played alone in about 2 hours with no delays behind people.
Cadillac CC
Professional staff! Courteous and willing to assist. Great experience...
Challenging but fair
Cadillac Country Club opened in 1910 . Front nine watch out for the trees. Back nine course opens up a little bit. Greens tend to be small but nice. Do not go long on most holes. First time playing will look forward to playing again
Felt like members
Very enjoyable course. The course is very playable with some challenges to make it interesting. The staff treated us like members.
Vacation golf
Course was in great shape. Greens were fast and true, with a couple of trickery pin placements. Fairways were emacukate, and if you missed them, the rough was playable, but challenging. Pace of play was great. Nice way to spend a summer morning.
Cold and Wet Day
Greens were fast for the wet conditions. Were the only players on teh course and the pace was great.
A Beautiful Old Course
Featuring lots of old-growth trees, the front nine is a classic example of a century-old golf course. Challenges abound on the two par threes; #2 plays about 180, with a massive green well guarded by trees, and #7 plays nearly 230 yards with a generous green surrounded by mounding and an elevated bunker. The remainder of the front nine features tree-lined holes, deceptively challenging.
The back nine finds the trees thinning out a bit (never going away, just thinning a bit), but still challenging, including a tenth hole with a massive tree in the center of the fairway, forcing a targeted drive from the tee. The back features the course's two par fives, including a difficult 18th hole that will challenge even the best to score par. A beautiful par three 16th features a carry over a pond to a large, heavily sloped green guarded by bunkers. Do yourself a favor on the par 4 17th and check out the green before taking your second shot; the green drops several feet below the remainder of the fairway, which will change how you play it.
The course is well-maintained and in great shape. It's fairly flat, and makes for a lovely walk. Full bar service is available, as are sandwiches and burgers/brats/etc. from the grill.
A beautiful course well worth your time.
Fun, well conditioned gold course
100+ year old golf course. Recent clubhouse renovation creates a much friendlier, brighter environment. Golf course is in fantastic condition. Greens roll very true with good speed, not lightning fast.
Front and back nines are quite different. Front nine is protected by large trees. No par fives and plays to a par 34. Both par threes are a true challenge (190 and 227 from the back tees). Back nine is quite a bit more open with two par fives playing to a par of 36.
Golf course has one forced carry and is a challenge for all levels of golfers.
