Great time,
This was a fun course to play, we played it twice and enjoyed both times. The staff were very friendly and accommodating. This is a must play course.
crested greens
Little hard to follow the Crouse. But overall it was a good time and experience. The greens are though a lot of three putts.
greens near landing area for stray shots
I enjoy playing this course once a year. not recommended after a hard rain.
good value, lots of water and tall rough
Waited a lot due to a twosome two groups ahead of us. I'm an absolute beginner and had to be careful of the many water and tall grass hazards. Lost a couple balls but found the course enjoyable. As a beginner I don't want to spend to much and this course was a great value. Had to race thru the 18 due to lighting.
No traps, mounded greens
Great value, friendly staff, short par fours, tricky at times. Relaxed course .
great time for the money
the price is far to say the least the course is a mostly open courrse my dad loves the senior tees and it dose help even our game
Goodrich CC review
The course has some tricky greens, some of which are crowned. Will test your short game. It is open with places to "miss it" - definitely not tight. Also some nice elevation changes. Enjoyed the experience.
nice course, tuff greens, good price
Course in pretty good shape; pretty wide open, not too long, ruff not too punitive - greens are almost all "turtle-backed" - which makes approach shot and putting a challenge.
Needs some TLC
recent heavy rains have had an adverse effect on the course. several flooded areas and grass that needs moving
not bad with a deal
I've played here a few times before. The course isn't in the best shape, but for the price played its not bad.
Not too shabby
Course is not in the greatest condition... Decent value if you play 18 on a deal. Beer is cheap!
WHAT? NO BUNKERS?
We felt this course was mediocre. What surprised us was the lack of bunkers. There are none! The club house probably had been very nice in it's time, but to call this course a "Country Club" is misleading. It could be considered a fun course, but only if you are drinking. My first inclination that this course may not be an ideal golf outing was finding my way into the club house on street level I found the bar dimly lit and asked how to get to the pro shop. Pointing to a narrow staircase, the bartender said downstairs. This unlit staircase was actually scary! I could not see the steps. I would recommend they help taking clubs from the parking lot down to the course level. My clubs are heavy and I would have appreciated help. It is a distance to carry them.
Good Time
i booked the tee time on golfnow. then i went to the course website. they had it for the exact same price. the course was still way too wet, but it was in great shape other than the water. greens were in very good shape. at $18 each with a cart, how can you go wrong with this course.
The Swamp
This course may be a decent course for the money if you wait to play it in late summer. The problem here is that there was not a dry spot on the entire course and there were literally small ponds creating water hazards where the should not be one.
Great course to play
Goodrich is a great course to play. Well maintained and the staff is awesome. For the price, you can't beat it.
Interesting & fun
Rather short but with the terrain and elevation changes along with the comfortable pace of play a very nice day was had.
Course was ok for price paid, but will not be back.
Greens and fairways in good condition. However, course is not quite a "cow pasture", but close. Ok for the $19 per person we paid.
I have golfed here before and this is the worse condition i have seen it in.
The mosquitoes were horrible and the course looked like it had been flooded recently it had a lot of water damage. The deal was only $10 so I didn't waste too much money.
wetland special
swampy, wet, major drainage issues. lack of landing areas, small elevated greens. super tiny tee boxes. even a good drive leaves a tough second shot chip. bring your bug spray. Too difficult for a beginner, too poor a quality for an avid golfer.
Good Price, Decent Course
The course was nice. It was maintained, very few divots. Fairways were pretty much all straight though. The difficult part was the crazy greens. Many greens are small and have huge drop offs. Practice up on chipping and putting before you hit this course.
