Greens
Greens were so long it was like an elites course fairways. Unable to figure speed of chips and putts. Mowers need to get out there.
could have been better
Had not played the course in a couple years so we decided to play 18 there. We paid for the round on-line so check-in was easy. It was August and you never know what a course will be like in mid-summer. In this case it was in ok shape. Most of the fairways were still green and not baked hard. There were many areas off the fairways that were brown and hard, but that was to be expected. Some of the non-fairway areas around the greens had grass long enough to hide balls which can create delay sand really slow down the round. The green speed varied from hole to hole, and some were a bit shaggy and bumpy. Several of the greens had roped off areas where they had reseeded bare spots. I would have expected the greens to be in better shape at this time of the season. Bunker were not well maintained. They They had been wet, and the sand was packed down. Overall I would play the course again, as long as they keep the senior rate in effect.
Rough green no food except for hot dogs
Nice course but some greens are unplayable and after golfing the restaurant didn’t serve any food except for old hot dogs
Good Value
Worth the drive for the pace of play and value. However the greens on the back nine are not in good shape and need serious repair.
Back nine green n all dead
Sorry to say but back 9 green r all dead. Need major green work. Front nine r good. Hilly. Need cart for sure. Some blind shots.
Poor Greens
Many of the greens had huge brown spots. Our putts were bouncing every time we hit.
Great Value and Pace of Play
No waiting great pace of play. Good value for the money.
Great course value
Booked my birthday round of golf at Gopher Hills @ Cannon Falls - using the Golf Now App. 18 holes, WITH CART for under 25 bucks, was great! Greens were a little on the dry side, but over-all the course is getting better the closer we get to summer.
Great Course for the Value
Pace of play was with the drive. Nice new banquet room was nice to see.
Course was in good shape but had standing water from overnight rain which made for muddy balls at time.
