A fun course to play
I have played this course a few times and have enjoyed each round. This last time, the pace was a little slower. That is because it was very busy and my partner and I were behind a party (2 four tops). The weather was beautiful, so the waiting was very tolerable. The tee boxes and fairways were in good shape. The first cut was a little long, at times Of course, if I kept it on the fairway, I'd alleviate that issue.. The greens were fast and I couldn't get a handle on them. That was frustrating, but that's my fault. But, as always, I enjoyed my round and plan to go back. It's a very fun course to play.
For those looking to play, a well hit drive will put you in position for a short approach shot. That leads to more than a few opportunities for a good golfer to make par. Elevation, doglegs and, a few blind shots, and holes that force you to lay up or go Tin Cup make up a few of the challenges you will face. Definitely worth a visit.
Nice
A few challenging holes, with an abundance of OB. Greens were a bit underwhelming but the Fairways were maintained well.
Clean course
Well manicured course fun to ply
Great Day for Golf
Another fantastic round at Tara Hills. The course was in great shape, considering the heat we've experienced this summer. Bats of to the grounds crew for keeping everything so lush and green. Only gripe wold be the greens were a little long and slow, but were in excellent condition. This is a fun golf course and I was able to get an awesome rate through Golf Now and was back home cooling off in 3 1/2 hours. Can't complain about that, love this course!
Great Condtion
Great pace of play and the course is in awesome condition!
Tara Hills was in great shape. staff is awesome
The greens will give you all that you want. Great job groundskeeper. The staff and the clubhouse was very helpful thank you. I'll be back had a great time.
Thank Lake
Good
Pace of play was really good. A little too windy to have a real great experience( not the course's fault. I don't think this course offers a drink cart (at least not the 2 times I played). Pin placements were way to challenging when I played for this type of course. Greens were in fair condition.
Great Course
The course offers uneven lies which challenge even the low handicap player. The course is short but makes up for that with undulating, fast greens. It is nice that they have GPS in the carts. Nice Course.
Great shape for November
Living in Nebraska, golf usually doesn't happen in November, and when it does the conditions are typically poor. However, the course was in great shape. Everything was green and in exceptional condition. Greens rolled true and were very smooth.
Course was nice.
Short and narrow course but the greens make up for it. They are very fast and breaking everywhere.
Decent course
Pretty nice course in good conditions by Omaha standards. Pace of play was awful. It seemed like they did a poor job of spacing the groups out and so everyone was bunched together. To make things worse, there was no course marshal to get the slow groups in front of us going. Overall the course was in pretty good shape so I'll probably be back.
great value
Booked for a great price and the weather was perfect. Some of the greens were a little on the bare side, but the course has really been taken care of the last few years.
The tree in the middle of the fairway on 7 needs to go. but that has been this way for years.
Tara Hills
Had a good time nice course in good condition this year good for beginners and intermediate golfers
Value for your money
Good condition, good greens, plays relatively fast.
Tara hills
Had a blast even with the rain, beautiful course with very nice staff
Great course for the average golfer!
The course was in great condition considering the wet weather we have had this year. We played on a Wednesday morning and the pace of play was fast. Golf is far more enjoyable when it doesn't take half of a day to play 18. I'd recommend this course to anyone.
this course has it's challenges
the course was in great shape and a beautiful day to play
Tara HIlls
The course was in good shape, the greens were real slow that day. we played behind 2 groups who were real bad and slow and everytime we got up behind them they took off. the slow group was 2 holes behind. and they played from the gold tees. Tara is an ok course for a muni, good for weaker players because its only 6200 from the tips and no one plays there. I won't be playing there anymore soon, but for the average golfer its a good course.
