Good course on a budget
The course is descent lay well kept. 36 holes on offer and the back and front are decently different. It isn’t a top tier course but for the average golfer it is a great place to play without breaking the bank
Great golf for the $
Challenging golf. Decent greens, not too much trouble, but long par 4's. Definitely will be back
Great Greens!
This course may be off the beaten path a bit but well worth the time and money. You have 2 18s to choose from and we played the longer/harder of the 2. These we're some of the best Greens that I have played on this year. Very friendly staff and just a great overall experience. Will definitely be playing here again.
Good course
Have played this course a lot especially when we lived nearby. Nice course with both easy and challenging holes
Almost a great round
The course was in great shape and had a very good round going until the back nine....at the turn grabbed a bottle of water and a burger...By the end of the 10th the water was gone...NO WHERE on the course was any water for me to get a refill, no vending machine to get some liquid top hydrate, no cart person coming around, no liquid anywhere to be found...by hole 15 I was dehydrated and could not stay focused....very unhappy by the lack of liquid available on a 96 degree day...yes 96 degrees...for that I am NOT happy and may not ever go back.
Beautiful courteous course
Looking for somewhere different to play a round. While our scores reflected the difficulty of the course, we had a great time.
Clubhouse staff and fellow golfers were kind and welcoming, explaining course options to newcomers. Some very long holes, awesome greens and well groomed fairways make it a nice course to play.
We do not live close, but look to return.
bagain round of golf
Course was in great condition, greens were as good as any I've played this year. We will come back again soon.
great value
course is alot more tricky than you think, hole 12 gives me so many headaches, great value like the 36 hole speeds up pace of play, straight drives are a must tree and bunker lined fairways
Great course!
Greens were fantastic and the golf pro was a great guy. Highly recommend!
Great value course
This is a great course for the money. It's nice that they have two 18's, both play very differently. I have been impressed at how well the course has been especially considering the lack of rain lately.
Great course
The front is pretty open but the first par 3 is a long one protected by bunkers. Hole 4 you water lurking over the hill. It's a very tough par 4 for me. Then hole 6 a dogleg to the right you need to stay to the left side of fairway if you want a shot into the green the right side has lots of trees. Then hole you don't want to fall short bunkers all over the front. It seems to play longer then what is says. Then 9 it's going to take 3 good shots to get to green on this long par 5. Then you make the turn lots of opportunity to wash you ball. On 10 dogleg right with creek along the whole right side. If your a long hitter cut the corner and go for green. If you paid you $5 at the start of your round you got a shot at $10,000 hole in 1 on 12. Then 13 another hole with lots of water in play. If you avoid the water on tee shot and think your done your got a pond in front of green. A very tough par 4. It's a very nice course to play. It's worth the travel. You got 2 18's to choose from. This is the Spruce.
Disappointed
This course is confusing to me. Why have 36 holes when you can't keep care of 18? Fairways and tee boxes aren't kept well. The cut of grass is different all across the course. The back 9 has many holes that are just almost unplayable layout wise. Will not be making a return trip here
Great price at an outstanding course
Wonderful staff, course conditions, clubhouse, and play.
Great wide open course
This course allows even bad shots to be played in contention of great scores
