Pine Hills Country Club

About
Pine Hills Country Club sprawls cross 165 acres of Long Island's protected Pine Barrens. The golf course plays long at over 7,000 yards from the back tees but it is a playable and fair test. It is challenging as well with quite a bit of water and sand coming into play throughout. Towering, mature pines also line narrow fairways. One of the most difficult holes is the par-4 11th. This dogleg left is one of the many holes with water and it also features a green that is severely sloped from back to front. While the golf course is the main attraction, Pine Hills is also known for having the area's best public practice facility. The club boasts a driving range with target greens, a putting green with a 9-hole practice course, and a chipping green with a greenside sand trap.

Reviews
Layout is super
The course is great and all the staff is wonderful… polite… helpful and courteous could not ask for a better facility would certainly recommend anyone to play there… as I have done many times
10 out of 10
Keep up the great work
Pace off play
Lot of people playing slow. Also charge $10 if you want a single cart not see other courses doing that.
Immaculate greens
I have play this course before and always enjoy the lay out. The par 5 12th hole is one my favorite holes on Long Island. The greens were immaculate for the time of year. They ran true. The fairways and Tee boxes were good shape. The pace of play was good. The staff were friendly. If you haven't tried this course, you should.
End of Winter golf
Went as single. Joined a threesome. Greens were a little bumpy but putted well. Not bad for the end of winter. Fun round.
Nice course , food very good , pro shop nice , people working in pro shop , not so nice
Excellent for February
Greens were fast and healthy for mid-winter. Fun course to play. Group ahead of us was over two holes behind and nobody seemed to be doing anything about it. Place could use a ranger.
Winter Warm Day
Great course and greens fast for winter time. Not bad from winter. Good value on golf now! One top golf course.
Friendly Staff
This course is in great shape. Greens are well kept (especially it being winter). The staff members are extremely friendly and helpful.
Nice course
Layout, conditions, staff were all very pleasant. Got a little slow on the back nine.
Overall a nice day. Would definitely play here again.
