Book a late twilight round and easily finished 18 holes before dark. This course has improved greatly over the last few years. Good value.
Needs some work, but worth playing
Fairways were in good shape. Front 9 greens were nice. Back 9 greens need improving as a lot of patches on them. Staff was very friendly. Worth playing for cheaper prices during off season. But needs improvements before next season.
Fun Track
Deep creek is a fun track to play.
Loads of water so “ straight “ off the tee is a big plus.
Fairways were in good shape. Rough was short.Greens are recovering from some malady or another. They are playable but have a good number of bare spots. We played the course twice with a three day interval between rounds and they had more grass coming on the second round.
Lay out is a bit different as there are five or six par threes.
Overall enjoyable play.
All the staff are super friendly.
Greens need much work
back 9 greens the worst.

Great day!
Arrived in the middle of a very busy Saturday afternoon. Was by myself and walking and the starter sent me off the back 9 first as a large event was just wrapping up. I played 18 holes in under 3 1/2 hours on a Saturday! Unbelievable! And enjoyed the course very much! Will absolutely be back!
Greens getting rough
Need to flood the greens with water before they loose 6-8 of them. Dried out the course has plenty of pond water to use pumps to flood the Greens to bring them back
Poor conditions
The greens were terrible, bumpy, dead patches, slow. The front 9 is only par 34 with 3 par 3’s and 1 par 5. Slow round well over 4 hours with no marshalls controlling slow play. Will not be back.
Disappointed
I've played DC many times in the past and this is by far the worst shape I've seen, especially the greens. I got a hot deal through golf now and even at that it was overpriced by $20. They should definitely be warning people ahead of playing what desperate shape their greens are in. I think they may be diseased. Definitely should be $40ish including a burger.

They were having a little problems with the greens but they are coming back.

Horrible greens
Greens were very rough, a lot of burnt off round divits, not maintained. Otherwise enjoyed our play.
