The greens and fairways are in great condition. Some portion of the greens are damaged but the rest that playable are in great shape. Greens have some undulations that adds difficulty to the course which is already challenging with the tree lined fairways.

Course has nice layout greens were in good shape fairways were still dormant but can tell that will be very nice later this spring. I would recommend for the value.

I like the course, but I thought it was too early in the season. I’d like to play it in the summer but I live in Pa. I was there golfing while my wife was sent there for her job.works for me!

We played this course on Sunday afternoon. Overall course was well kept for January. Fun yet fair layout. Would play again.

I would play this course again . I was from out of town but if I’m back in the area, I’d try to set a game up.

Good grass throughout, nicely cut fairways and rough. Excellent greens, very few marks. Good sand.
Only lacking is the cart paths; roots throughout.

Never have I played on such fast greens! At the turn commented to the staff, they told me these were very similar to Augusta. WOW! Overall great experience, complete new style of play on the the green!

This is the fourth time I've played this course. It is in great shape and very well kept. The staff are super friendly. I love this course and will play again and again.

Fairways were immaculate.. greens were a lil quick but rolled true..all in all a great layout and course for the money!

The course is interesting for Eastern North Carolina. The greens had just been aerated so they were terrible. The guys I played with said they are usually in good shape and true. Overall I liked the course and would play it again after the greens fill in.

First time playing at Ayden, and though it was one of my worst outings score wise, I appreciated the difficult greens, and the course setup. Made you really think of the shot prior to stepping up and hitting. Great place to develop your game and staff was friendly.

Excellent, raised greens; contoured and fun. Many shaped fairways break the monotony of the flat terrain. Just right amount of water hazards. Good cut throughout the course. Course drains well after rains, but drainage ditches present challenge for finding balls when off the fairways; plentiful, deep and unmaintained..
