God course but slow play.
Can’t fault the course, it was great. Greens superb, especially after all the rain we have had. But the pace of play was awful, we started queuing on the second, and it continued on every hole. We had a group behind teeing off and nearly hitting us as they didn’t feel like waiting for us to play our shots, whilst we were waiting for the group ahead to finish. It took us 5 hours and 15 mins to play 18.
I would love to play the course again. As it was great, but there is no chance I will be doing after the experience today.
Lovely course, held up with the weather but SLOW!
Would be a great course to play in the summer. Despite torrential rain, all tees and greens were in play. Very wet underfoot in some places but considering the weather it held up really well.
Lovely setting, several visually impressive holes. A good mix of longer holes with others that require a bit of thought.
Pace of play was slow. 4hrs 30 for the round, which isn’t ridiculous but the manner of play was frustrating. The entire course waiting for the group in front to take a shot. 8minute tee times seems to need an adjustment. Fortunately the quality of the course meant it was still a great day.
Great condition
The course was in great condition for the current weather that we have had .
Nice course but poorly organised.
Our tee time was double booked with a four ball (we was a 2 ball). The pace of play was terrible and clearly too many tee time were sold and there was no starter to try and organise the chaos on the first tee.
Course was in a good winter condition and would of been an enjoyable round had we not of had to wait for 10min on every tee box.
Brilliant course
Brilliant course , lovely pace and very scenic . Had a few fore balls at us but not really course related other then that 10/10
Stunning golf course
After a mix up on tee box where either there was a double booking or someone walked on free as there was five stood there, as a two ball we said to guy your welcome to join us guy called Alan what a pleasure to share the round with him and he also witnessed my friend have the round of his life with only irons which made it more special,
Will definitely be back one day worth the money guys don't miss this one
Just wow
Been wanting to play here for a while so expectation was high and it did not disappoint, absolutely stunning scenery well maintained and possibly the nicest place I have played at . I will definitely return . February golf is often difficult with the conditions and it was a bit wet but I expect that everywhere this time of year
Great condition
Very good condition through the winter.
Best practise facilities I've seen in the area.
Impeccable greens
Played westerham golf course for the first time this week and was not disappointed. Lovely layout for a course with impeccable greens and fairways are looked after well even though it was winter conditions - greens were very fast but was a good challenge. Really enjoyed my round, well worth the hefty green fee.
Great condition
Greens in great condition, bit wet in places will be boggy in the winter but really well kept. Good food in the bar.
Poor pace of play
Really really slow place to play. Nice course, and had lovely weather. I’ve played here a few times however and would say it’s one of the slowest pace of play courses I’ve ever played. Our round took 5.35 mins on a Saturday afternoon. Manager and pro refuse to address the issue nor come back to me to apologise.
Nice little course
Enjoyed playing here...place was slow due to a senior event.
Challenging course with slick greens.
Lots of undergrowth has been cleared since we last played and some trees have gone, both of which mean some holes are a little less daunting than they were. However it means less likely to delay play looking for balls. Overall the course is magnificent.
Great course for the right price
Ample practice facilities (though the range balls need a refresh) and stunning views from the clubhouse really show the quality of the course throughout. Thoroughly enjoyable and for the twighlight rate, well worth the price.
Underwhelming.
This was the first time in about 10 years I have played Westerham.
I have to say I left slightly disappointed with the quality of the greens and fairways.
From the 4th tee onwards we were waiting pretty much every shot, with no marshal in site!
Overall this was a good test of golf but I won’t be rushing back.
I'm sorry to hear you didn't have the most enjoyable experience at Westerham.
There are marshals on the course daily, a round of over 5hrs is certainly not the norm!
